Today I had everything planned out and nothing went right, but still did pretty good. I was going to do TWO transactions of beauty items. Once I got to the store though I didn’t know if Ponds make-up removers or the Venus & Olay razors would be included in the “$3 off of $20 beauty, skin care, or hair care purchase” catalina that I’ve been rolling. Instead of having a big mess at the register in case they weren’t (plus I lost my one 4/1 Venus & Olay razor q somewhere between my house & Target) I only got two shampoos in the first transaction to get my peelies for the second. Last night went to Target and saw they had restocked their previously empty Pantene shampoo’s with new ones that had 2/1 peelies for pantene stylers. I didn’t have more than 1 of the 3/2 pantenes though to get the shampoo & then use another 3/2 with the peelies on stylers. I begged my mom for her’s today and told her I’d give her the products since she never ventures to Target (LOL). In case anyone was wondering where the peelies came from, I thought I’d explain. I think they expire on 7/15 or 7/16 :o)

At Dollar General, things also went wrong. I’ve never used the 5/25 purchase q that they seem to have nearly every Saturday. I got a text the other day and didn’t read it too well, I thought the 5/25 was for this Saturday, but it’s for next (7/14). Apparently today they were doing a different one of $10 off of $30 lawn or something, so that messed me up and ended up not being able to get 3 more items for the same price as I paid without the 5/25. I still did okay though and am happy with what I got.
