Long post but need a lot of explanation. This can work out the same (or better) for you if you have a Love with Food subscription. In my Nov 2014 Taster’s box Love with Food gave out (1) $25 gift card to LeTote.com (known as the netflix of clothing). The deluxe box from Love with Food had (2) $25 cards. I looked at the Le Tote site and was disappointed that you cannot directly purchase the clothes/jewelry. You have to sign up for their monthly clothing service ($49.00 per month) and then if you want to keep any of the items pay for them separately. They send you three clothing items and two jewelry items. This was not something I was willing to do, at first. I was upset at wasting the $25 until I did some snooping online and found a promo code for a FREE box. I then signed up for LeTote. You have to fill out a lengthy profile for their service so be warned since they tailor the items to your size and taste. You also get a $10 purchasing credit for signing up. I Used the promo code (FREEBOX) to get my 1st tote for free. Do you need to put in a credit card to sign up even though my total was $0.00 but I used an empty visa gift card that I keep for stuff like this. This way I’m not giving out my actual info. Totally worked. During my profile set up I selected items to add to “My Closet”. I made sure to select cheaper items so I could use my $25 gift card. The company then selects randomly what to send you based on your profile and the items you put in your closet. I received my Le Tote box in the mail in 2 days. Quick and free shipping. I was happy and surprised to get some of the items I had in “My Closet”. I was sent 1 sweater, 1 blouse, 1 skirt, 1 pair of earnings, 1 necklace. They said these 5 items retail for $260. I then decided what items I wanted to keep based on the quality and price. I used the return envelope provided (postage pre-paid) and returned the clothing items. (They were very nice but not in my budget). So I kept the jewelry. The returned box arrived at the Le Tote center 2 days later. Again, quick and free shipping. My account was then updated billing me for the items I kept. I used the $10 credit and the $25 gift card to pay for them. Retail price for jewelry: $56 Le Tote discount pricing: $36 Used $10 credit and $25 gift card: $35 Paid: $1 OOP Total savings (including the $49.99 for the service): 99.99% Please note that Le Tote is a monthly service so you get billed once a month unless you cancel. Also the $10 credit for signing up is only good for 30 days. If you do not like the items in your box you can return it all and they will send you another automatically. This is done as many times as you want within the billing month for the $49.99.
