Yesterday I was near a Target that I’ve never shopped at before and had some time to kill. Interesting thing happened to me in line.
I bought

2 Nivea Lotions 2.6 oz clearance for $1.37 each
4 Halls Vitamin C cough drops clearance for $0.38 each

I tried to use 2 $2 Nivea coupons (got from a rep at Winco No size restriction) and the cashier would not accept them because they were more then the price of the item. She called the manager over he also said no. Then the woman behind me in line walked around and swiped her debt card and started to pay for my stuff. (I wasn’t holding up the line much, maybe 2 minutes) and I said no I’ll move sorry but that’s not why she was paying for it. She was upset that they won’t adjust the coupon down saying that they should be able to do that and she’s had them do that and even give her the overage before. I tried to tell her no several times but she insisted.

The total was $4.61. It should’ve been $0.61 after coupons saving $4 not including the fact that they were marked down. While leaving Target I handed a $5 Target gift card I had from a previous visit to a woman walking in with her baby and toddler.

Total haul $5. 0% savings! And it felt good!
