I’d be glad to help! I only do extreme couponing a CVS… I don’t like Walgreens for various reasons and don’t shop at Wal-mart/K-mart (to far from me). But any questions about CVS, I most likely know the answer.

First thing first is you need a extra-card card. Thats the only way to get the extra-bucks deals. Once you have that you need to sign up for Beauty Club. Beauty club is a reward program that is linked to your extra-card card and tracks your spending. For every $50 worth (BEFORE coupons!) of beauty items you get.. you get $5 extra-bucks (which you can use on almost anything in the store).

Another thing you’ll want to do is register your card cvs dot com and be sure to provide your email because they will send you coupons!

Another program they have is the green bag tag (you can buy it in store for .99 cents), Everytime you shop at CVS and bring your own reusable bag and they scan your green bag tag you get 1 point and after after every 4 points you get a $1 extra buck (green tag can only be scanned once a day)

Than there’s the Magic Coupon Machine. It’s a machine located in the store. You scan your card and it gives you store coupons (sometimes it lets me scan it up too 3 times, with different coupons each time). Sometimes it gives out AMAZING coupons. You can “stack” one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon with one item.

Besides that I would start off small… pick one or two deals that gives you extra bucks. Your first transaction your out-of-pocket expense will be high because you don’t have any extra-bucks. But on your second trip/transaction you can use the extra bucks to lower your oop. You can use as many extra bucks you have in a transaction as long as it doesn’t bring your subtotal below $0.00. If that does happen they can reduce it down so all you pay is tax.
