Once I found out how easy it is to get samples of my favorite items for free product testing, I was hooked.

I got this insider information from product tester Allie of @shopmetender and I’m passing it on to you because I know how much you love getting free stuff.

For more deals and money-saving tips, download The Krazy Coupon Lady app or text DEALS to 57299.

1. Join product testing panels and agree to give reviews.

One of the easiest ways to get free samples is to join testing panels. Companies create these specifically to get feedback from users, so they’ll send you free products in exchange for reviews!

Check out 31 companies that have testing panels here.

2. Get free full-size samples from Toluna when you take surveys.

Toluna is an online discussion forum where you share your opinion on products by taking polls, surveys, and participating in discussions with other members. And while the points you earn for these tasks add up rather slowly, you’ll become eligible to test full-size products for just the cost of your review.

Once you join Toluna, head to the “Explore” tab and click on “Test Products” to see if you qualify!

Some examples of past products up for testing: Maybelline eyeliner, Nicols Microfiber cloths, Colgate toothbrushes, and much more.

3. Follow the “Freebies” section on Krazy Coupon Lady to find out about free samples.

How to Become a Product Tester

Did you know here at KCL we have a Krazy Freebies Facebook page? If you’re not following us already, click “Like,” and you’ll gain access to all of the latest free products and samples.

Then, check out the “Freebies” section too! You’ll find free samples, free products, and moneymaker deals here. Total cost to you: nada.

4. Become an Influenster and score a “Vox Box” of samples.

Influenster sends out boxes of samples for you to try called “Vox Boxes.”

Once you register, you’ll be asked to complete certain tasks to become eligible for boxes. For instance, you might be asked to review products you’ve used in the past, take a “shelfie” with a product at the store, share something on social media, etc.

You’ll be notified when you’re eligible for a box, and you’ll be asked to review the products afterwards. You can also complete certain tasks to win prizes like full-size samples!

5. Send a message to companies to get free coupons and samples.

If there’s a company selling a product you love, sometimes sending an email to their customer service or reaching out on social media can land you coupons for products or even free samples.

Allie previously reached out to Olive Garden, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Siggi’s, Panera, and Aveeno and received free products just because she asked for them.

Tip: Try asking for “misprinted items.” Since companies can’t sell these or put them on the shelves, they will usually give them away for free.

6. Check the Reddit “Freebies” section daily.

If you’re a fan of Reddit, then you should definitely be checking out Reddit’s freebies section. Reddit is a discussion forum for any and every topic you can think of. The freebies section is updated daily by users with the latest free products and samples. You don’t even need an account to check it.
