This Week’s Yuupon Hotel Deals: Cancun Beachfront, Las Vegas and More

Yuupon is sure making it hard to resist their travel deals.

The site offers savings of 50 percent or more over standard hotel rooms, car rentals and airline rates.

Yuupon now provides the name of the hotel before you book, a great feature they needed to add. These deals don’t have a set “must purchase” date like the Groupon and Living Social deals, but they pull the offers once the set number of rooms has been sold.

Here’s a sample of this week’s Yuupon hotel deals:

  • Chicago — One night/two adults/$107 at the historic Blackstone Hotel on Michigan Avenue, in the heart of downtown Chicago’s shopping district. Travel between now and February 28, 2013.
  • Las Vegas — One night/two adults/$69 at the four-star Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Travel between now and November 25, 2012.
  • Cancun, Mexico — One night/two adults/$103 at the five-star Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort in Cancun, Mexico. Travel between now and February 28, 2013.
  • Times Square, New York City — One night/two adults/$185 at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Hotel in New York City. Travel between now and February 28, 2013.

To take advantage of one of these deals, visit Yuupon. Make sure to read the fine print and understand the restrictions before providing a credit card number. Yuupon deals no longer have a “book by” date. They expire when all of the allotted rooms have been taken.

Has anyone had any success booking a room “on request”? I checked and the rates on youupon are much cheaper than the hotel’s site. They are actually available on my dates through the hotel site, but much more expensive. They ask for a credit card first…. seems fishy!!

I was going to book the Crowne Plaza, but the rate was $404 a night. I checked the hotel website and the rate was $384 a night. Don’t think I’ll be “taking advantage” of this “deal”.
