Yuupon travel deals have been around for several months now. They work similarly to Groupon and offer savings of 50 percent and more over standard hotel, car rental and airline rates.   Recently, Yuupon has changed their arrangement so that you know the name of the hotel before you book, a big plus if you ask me. Below is a sampling of this week’s Yuupon hotel deals:

1.  Montreal – One night’s accommodation for two adults at the newly-renovated Intercontinental Hotel in downtown Montreal for $128. Travel between now and August 31, 2012.

2. Washington DC - One night’s accommodation for two adults at the Washington Marriott in the center of Washington, DC for $147. Travel between now and August 31, 2012.

3. Charleston, South Carolina – One night’s accommodation for two adults at the four-star Charleston Place Hotel in downtown Charleston, South Carolina from $183. Travel between now and August 31, 2012

4. New York City/Manhattan – One night’s accommodation for two adults at the five-star Surrey Hotel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for $267. Travel between now and August 31, 2012.

To take advantage of one of these deals, visit the Yuupon Web site. As with all of these sites, make sure that you read the fine print and restrictions before you give them your credit card number. Yuupon deals no longer have a “book by” date. They expire when all of the allotted rooms have been taken.
