What is Woot?

What is Amazon Woot? Woot started off as its own website in 2004 that offered deals on one product per day until the website sold out of inventory. In June 2010, Amazon acquired Woot, so you can think of it as Amazon’s sister site, but just for deals. Since the merge, Woot’s been sharing daily deals and other limited-time offers (like deals that last for up to 10 days even). You’ll find anything from refurbished goods, returned items, or closeout models — which is how they’re able to offer products for so cheap. On a good day, you can find discounts of up to 70% or 80% off.

When did Woot Prime Appreciation Week first start?

Woot has provided Prime benefits to Amazon Prime members since 2017. But, they started their first-ever official Woot Prime Appreciation Week back in February 2019. Their first week-long sales event started on February 24 and lasted through March 2, 2019. The most recent Woot Prime Appreciation Week took place between March 25 – April 5, 2024.

Is Woot shipping free?

Yes, if you’re an Amazon Prime member! Prime members instantly get free standard shipping. Simply log into your Amazon account to take advantage of this perk.

But if you’re not a Prime member, you’ll have to pay at least $6 for shipping, depending on how quickly you need your item.
