Yahoo homepage headlines usually don’t peak my interest, but this morning their headline of 10 Things not to buy in 2010 got my click.

I was not surprised to find some of these made the list:

Landline Phones
DVDs
Gas Guzzling Cars

But then I read, ‘Newspaper Subscriptions‘??  Ahem.  Excuse me yahoo, but I must disagree.

For the Krazy Coupon Lady, a newspaper subscription is money in the bank!  We suggest subscribing to 4-6 copies of the Sunday paper.  This way you get 4-6 copies of each coupon!  Now, when Pantene Shampoo is $0.77 at Raleys or Nivea Lip Treatment is Free at Rite Aid, you can stock up on the item when the price is right!

Most papers offer a Sunday-only or Weekend-only subscription.  You should be able to subscribe for under $1.00 per paper; don’t pay over what you would pay at the newspaper stand.  Someday I’d like a Nationwide list of newspapers and rates, but with two little ones, that’s not going to happen anytime in the next six months.  Please share with us:  What paper to you subscribe to for multi-subscriptions and what do you pay?
