I wanted to write this answer any questions you may have regarding Safeway Super Price Coupons.  These coupons are found in the weekly ad in your newspaper (usually Sundays and Wednesdays) and on the stand at your local Safeway store.  What makes these coupons a little tricky is the wording below:

Minimum $20 Purchase qualifies you for all coupons.

Luckily the $20 purchase must only be reached before you present ANY coupons, super-price coupons or manufacturer coupons.  Let me give you an example scenario with a coupon from this week’s ad for Nature Valley Granola Bars.

The above coupon reads 4 for $6.00, (or $1.50 each) when you buy 4 with card and coupon.  But if you read below that it states 4 for $10.00 (or $2.50 each) club price without coupon.  In order to  calculate your $20 minimum, we will use the 4 for $10 price, not the 4 for $6.00.

Example Scenario:

Buy 8 Nature Valley Granola Bars $20.00 (with club card, no coupons yet)
Now you may present your super price coupon, new total: $12.00
{Use 8} $0.40/1 – Nature Valley Granola Bars – (coupons.com)
Load 1 $0.40/1 Nature Valley Granola Bars- (cellfire.com)
Final Price: $1.10 each, when you buy 4, (one will be $0.70, after cellfire)

You satisfied the $20 minimum but only paid $8.10 out of pocket.
