For every mom who is sick of buying junk-birthday presents that end up getting tossed or donated within the first 6 months, keep reading!

The top 3 qualities I look for in a gift for my children:  (1) must be durable, (2) inspires creative or educational play and (3) has to store easily!  When I found MissPrettyPretty’s shop on Etsy, I knew I’d hit the jackpot!  Custom playhouses are sewn to fit your card table. (Don’t have one?  Look on Craigslist; they’re cheap!)  There are tons of playhouses to choose from (careful, you’ll want them all!):  cup-cakery, garden, grocery store, outer space, train station and tons of others!  I am honored to give my honest review and say that these are even better than the photos suggest!  The detail is absolutely exquisite!  I’m already thinking ahead to my son’s birthday and the outer-space playhouse!

Now, all you penny-pinchers, the custom playhouses aren’t cheap:  prices start at $95.00 and go up past $200.  Personally, I’d rather give one quality gift for a birthday instead of a handful of not-so-hot ones (and as the woman who’s not willing to pay a dime for a tube of toothpaste, that should hold some weight)!   Too rich for your blood?  Get crafty and buy a playhouse pattern (prices start at only $12.00).

MyFirstPlayhouse (like on facebook) is offering a free mail bag and 4 (standard) letters with any playhouse purchase when you mention that you saw the offer on KCL!
