I am going crazy “window shopping” at this new site I found called Rent the Runway. It is a site that allows you to rent designer gowns, dresses, formals and jewelry for a fraction of their retail price. Here are all of the things I love about this site:
- Instead of spending a lot of money on one dress and either not ever wearing it again or wearing the same dress to event after I event, I could use that money to rent up to 10 dresses for that same price.
- These dresses are designer. Let me say that again, DESIGNER. Not some random dress that you are going to find in the mall that likely someone else will be wearing to your event as well.
- Dresses rentals cost about 10% of the retail price of the dress.
- If you are worried about fit you get to order a second dress in the same style but a different size for free! This takes out the guess work and worry that your dress won’t fit the way you want it to!
- This is a great service for military balls, formal and black tie events, prom, weddings, pageants and more.
