It's finally autumn, and you know what that means . . . pumpkins! (I wonder if being a pumpkin farmer in October is a bit like being an accountant in April.) It’s a busy time of year, for certain! After all my kids’ school activities and trips to the pumpkin patch, I usually end up with an awful lot of pumpkins on my porch by October 31st. A few of them we carve, but what to do with the rest? Instead of stacking them around the front entrance or setting them haphazardly throughout the house, here is a super cute way to jazz up your autumn entertaining using one of those extra pumpkins. I’m thinking this will be a fun way to display the Capri Suns at my son’s class Halloween Party!
Step 1 Choose a large, wide pumpkin and cut off the top third with a serrated knife.
Step 2 Scrape out the seeds and goo from inside the pumpkin.
Step 3 Put a serving bowl bowl inside of the pumpkin. Shave off a little of the pumpkin if it doesn't fit.
Step 4 Fill with ice and drinks and enjoy your guests' amazement!
