Extreme Couponing Tip: Can you stack a BOGO coupon with a BOGO sale?

You may use a Buy One Get One Free manufacturer coupon with a BOGO store promotion, unless the store policy expressly prohibits it.  One product is free to the consumer and reimbursed by the manufacturer coupon.  The other product is also free to the consumer, from the store.  Stores who prohibit this use (the application of a coupon for a free item) include: Price Chopper, Rite Aid, Safeway (and all Safeway affiliate stores), Target, and Weis. Make sure to check your local store coupon policy for specifics.

Price Chopper: "We will accept only one (1) manufacturer coupon for an advertised Buy one, Get one Free Offer. We will not accept a manufacturer’s coupon for the product that is received free as part of a Buy one, Get one Free Offer.”

Rite Aid
: “Buy One Get One Free coupons cannot be used in conjunction with a Buy One Get One Free promotion.”

Safeway (and Safeway affiliates Dominick's, Carrs, Genuardi's, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb, and Vons): "Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer."

Target: “The use of one Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that two of the valid items are presented at checkout of which one item will be charged to the guest and the 2nd item will be discounted by its full retail price.”

Weis: "Coupons cannot be applied against the item received in any offer where a customer buys one or more items to get one or more items free."
