Mayonnaise is great to use on your hair if it feels a little dry. It will leave your hair feeling much more soft and manageable than it was before. Plus, it's way cheaper than buying a salon-brand deep conditioner. Just apply a little mayonnaise to damp hair, concentrating on the ends. Wrap your hair in a shower cap and leave the mayonnaise on for 30 minutes. Rinse well with lukewarm water and shampoo your hair like normal.
Has your hair ever felt greasy and weighed down from using too many hair conditioners and styling products? If so, you need to clarify your hair. You don't need some fancy shampoo to do this; a little baking soda will do the trick. All you have to do is combine 2 tbsp. of baking soda with ¼ cup of water in a small bowl and pour it all over you hair. Leave the baking soda in your hair for a couple of minutes and wash your hair like normal. Afterwards, you'll notice how light and voluminous your hair feels.
Avocado not only moisturizes dry, damaged hair; it helps tame frizz as well. For this treatment, mash up half an avocado and apply it to damp hair. Allow it to saturate in your hair for 20 minutes before washing it out with shampoo. If your hair needs extra moisture, combine mashed avocado with 1 tbsp. of olive oil.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Who doesn't desire smooth, shiny hair? The good news is that you don't need hair serum or crème to achieve this. Rinsing your hair with apple cider vinegar once a week will help you achieve the shiny hair you've always wanted. All you need to do is add 1 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar to 2 cups of water and shake it well. After shampooing and conditioning your hair, pour the apple cider vinegar over your hair. Don't wash it out. Then, style your hair like normal.
