Extreme Couponing Tip: Take a Step Back and Relax!
With two weeks without inserts, some Krazy Couponers are starting to go crazy! But this is a perfect time to take a break and focus on the benefits of slow couponing, especially during the holiday season.
No inserts means no clipping! Without inserts, you can devote your couponing time to cleaning out all the expireds from your binder (and sending them to our troops overseas), organizing your stockpile, and taking inventory of what you have.
Focus on family: It’s very easy to get too caught up in couponing, especially when you score so many good deals. So take this time to sit back, relax, and spend time with friends and family. Caroling, sledding (bring along some of that cocoa you got on sale!), watching holiday movies, and calling/visiting relatives will help bring balance to a Krazy Couponer’s life.
The spirit of giving: If you have stockpile extras, it’s a great time of the year to think about donating to those less fortunate. Bake some cookies, whip up some Chex mix, and deliver some extras to a family in need. Boxes of pasta, stuffing, cake mix, instant potatoes, canned pumpkin, baking staples (flour, sugar, butter), and some personal care items (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc) are sure to be well received!
