Santa may be done with his list this year, but a good shopping list is important for every Krazy Couponer to have all year round! It reduces impulse buying and saves you time and money.
The first step is to match-up coupons to weekly ads. If you shop at a store not mentioned on KCL, check out this post for how to find a good site. Then write or type out the hottest deals you’ll be wanting and what items you need (eggs, milk, bread, etc). Make a notation next to the items that have a coupon, indicating what coupon applies where (you may want to color code or use symbols to distinguish eCoupons and store or manufacturer coupons). Also indicate Catalinas and rewards you’ll be using and if you’re expecting any others to print out.

Online: Many stores, such as Kroger and Safeway, offer a shopping list feature on their website when you view their ad. Simply click on the item you are interested in, and you can add it to your list. Then write it out or print it when you’re done. You can also copy & paste the best deals from websites like TheKrazyCouponLady.com into a Word document if you prefer a printed list.
Store Layout: Having a store layout and indicating which products are on which aisles can be a big time saver. Check out how to find one or create your own here.
