I continue to find myself gravitating toward the hip industrial look that frequently is splashed across the pages of Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel and Restoration Hardware. Small doses seem to go far if you invest in the right pieces. And I think I’ve found a winning piece.
Restoration Hardware’s Dutch Industrial Tower measures 24″W x 16″D x 79″H and costs a whopping $1045! It’s gorgeous. It’s functional. It’s expensive. But of course, it would be…I love it. Something else I love? OVERSTOCK!
Head over and check out this knockoff at a $700+ savings! The shelves are two inches deeper and the unit is 7 inches shorter…but come on…I can deal with that for the money! Overstock’s Renate Grey Tower measures 24″W x 18″D x 72″H and is only $318.99! SOLD!
Total saved: $736.01. A 70% savings! Can I get a woot woot?
I’m still searching for fab tables and accents for our new living room! I found a contender at Crate & Barrel with their Spool Accent Table measuring 20″D x 22″H. By now, you realize I won’t buy it despite its (almost) perfection. I just can’t get past the price tag of $229.
It is SO hard to find sturdy yet delicate looking side tables. With young kiddos in the house I want to know that if they are knocked over, sat on or drawn on they will stand up. This beauty looks like it will do the job. But even better? Overstock’s CHEAPER version. Don’t be scared of the word cheaper…trust me on this one. Overstock’s Bailey Accent Table measuring 20″D x 22″H is only $93.99!
Both made of sturdy steel. Both the same size. But one table is over $100 less plus you save on shipping! Shipping is $28.90 per table at Crate & Barrel versus Overstock’s fabulous $2.95 flat fee per entire order (excludes HI, AK and International orders)!
Total Savings: $135.01 (excluding shipping savings). An 83% savings when you factor in shipping!
