But, there is a wealth of valuable information to be found in the comments section, too. The beauty of having a couponing community is that we all share with each other the great deals and the problems that we find.
Before I go shopping, I always look at the matchups created by KCL. Then I read all of the comments to learn even more.
Find Unadvertised Sales Here First
Sometimes the best matchups are not advertized. We don't know what they are until one of us finds it in the store and then shares it with the rest of us. Most of the time, these deals are shared first in the comments section. This is where you hear about that extra Catalina or +Up Reward that is printing that no one expected. Almost every great double dip at Rite Aid is posted first in the comments.
Hear About Great Clearance Deals
This is also where to learn about great clearance finds. A Target sweater on clearance for $3? I’m in! It is so fun to look in the comments and read about the clearance finds that people discover in different stores.
Get a Warning About Potential Problems
The comments are where we find out the bugs. This is where we learn about coupons that beep at the register, and where we get a heads up that some managers are misinterpreting the language on the coupons. A heads up from other couponers helps us feel more prepared as we go to the store.
With thousands of matchups every week, there are bound to be some mistakes or typos. I'm impressed with how rarely this happens, but when it does, it's corrected in the comments. The comments are where we find out that a coupon listed is no longer available or has expired, or other misprints.
You Are Not Alone
The comment section is the place where we empathize with each other and share our successes and our frustrations. It's nice to know that there is a safe place to get excited about a great deal without people thinking I’m weird! This is where to read about other people's experiences and realize it is not just you.
One of the things that makes TheKrazyCouponLady so great is the feedback from the readers! If you just read the posts and skip the comments, you are seriously missing out. If you never share your own comments and ideas, we are missing out! So get the most out of your experience by reading the comments, and be sure to enrich the experience for others by sharing your own thoughts.
