Albertsons doesn't have a coupon policy that fits every store and every market area because they consider each store to be unique. They do have some basic general guidelines, though. One of them is that if the coupon value exceeds the price of the item, the coupon will be adjusted down. Stop by your store customer service counter and ask for a copy of their coupon policy.
Part 1: Coupons accepted by Albertsons
Manufacturer Coupons: These coupons are found in the Sunday newspaper inserts: Smart Source, Red Plum, and Procter & Gamble. They can also be found in magazines and in-store.
Printable Coupons: Albertsons accepts valid coupons printed from the Internet with a scannable bar code.
Albertsons Store Coupons: These are found in the store weekly ad.
Part 2: What makes Albertsons KRAZY!
Stacking: Stack sales with a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon to maximize your savings.
Markdowns: Browse the store for the green price tags which indicate items that have been deeply discounted due to an approaching expiration date. Since markdowns are done by barcode, you can find the same item with a longer expiration date for the same price! Stack these low prices with an applicable manufacturer coupon and score very cheap products.
Price Guarantee: For stores located in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Northern Utah: If the price charged at the register is higher than the advertised or shelf price, the customer will receive one item for free (excludes liquor, tobacco and dairy). For stores in Southern California and Southern Nevada, the customer will receive the item at the lowest price posted.
