Lowe's, the second-largest home improvement chain in the U.S., offers several ways to save on everything you need to make your home beautiful and functional on a DIY budget. Here are five ways to organize your projects and save at Lowe’s:
If you’re always forgetting which brand of air filters you buy or you have no idea what color paint you have chipping in your bedroom, the MyLowe’s program will come in quite handy! Once you sign up for MyLowe’s, the system will keep a running inventory of all of your previous purchases made both in-store and at Lowes.com. MyLowe’s also allows you to create lists for various home improvement projects you’re working on, which you can access online and through their smartphone app. Once you’ve created a list, you can add articles, videos and products from Lowes.com to each list so you can easily access all of your ideas. Other benefits to the MyLowe’s program include the ability to set reminders to buy certain products and the ability to create a home profile where you can input and access information such as room dimensions and warranty information.
2. Low Price Guarantee
With Lowe’s Low Price Guarantee, not only will Lowe’s match competitors’ prices, but they’ll beat them! If you find an item at a lower price, bring the competitor’s current ad in to your local Lowe’s, and they will beat the price by 10%. The item must be identical, and the Lowe’s Low Price Guarantee does not apply to installation labor; special orders; discontinued, clearance and damaged items.
3. Price Protection
If you prefer to shop online but wonder if the prices in-store could be lower, you don’t have to worry with Lowe’s Price Protection. When shopping online and choosing store pickup, you will receive the lower of the online store price or the price at the local Lowe’s store where you are shopping.
4. Rebate Center
Lowes.com offers a one-stop shop for all rebates information. You can use their Rebate Center to view all current rebate offers by product category, zip code or brand. If you’ve purchased an item that qualifies for a rebate, you can also use the center to submit your information and even check the status of your rebate!
5. Smartphone apps
If you tend to get lost within the massive aisles of your local Lowe’s, download their app for iPhone or Android devices to help you get in and out quicker. Using the Lowe’s app, you can find any in-stock item on a map of your local Lowe’s store. You can view and save aisle information, and map restrooms, the service desk and other areas of the store with just a click. If you’re debating between two products, use the app to pull up real-time reviews and ratings from other shoppers!
