This week at CVS, there is an ExtraBucks promotion on select Neutrogena facial care and sun care products. When you view the participating products on myweeklyad under the $10.00 ExtraBucks promo (check in "beauty"), you'll see that the 3.5-ounce Translucent Facial Bar is included (prices start as low as $2.99, but the bar costs $3.39 at my store). Take a look at how this particular item can make you money after ExtraBucks. Keep in mind, there will most likely not be a sign for this deal in your store. To be sure it's included in your area, log in and view your personalized ad at myweeklyad at cvs.com.
Don’t forget, purchase three products and receive a free tote. Have your cashier scan the three products and then the tote, and the register will automatically deduct the $9.99! I found the totes on a Neutrogena display in the cosmetics department.
An interesting twist to this promotion is that, not only is the ExtraBucks limit up to six, but the tote itself is “tracking” as one of the “buy three” items. That is to say, when you follow the transaction above, you’ll notice that you’ll receive the $10.00 ExtraBucks and the tracking at the bottom of your receipt will show that you only need two more items to complete the promotion a second time. If you want to do it all at once, here’s what that transaction will look like:
If you’re still with me, then here’s a challenge to you advanced couponers: let us know about a scenario you came up with to maximize the ExtraBucks and free totes, considering the promo limits and the tracking of the tote as one of the eligible items! Please share in the “comments“ below.
