If you’ve ever searched for the perfect jump rope, you may be able to empathize with my frustration. How do you find the perfect rope weight? What’s the right length? I bought the wrong rope so many times! But I finally found the right ones, and they’re one of my favorite things.
These school yard jump ropes are exactly what you expect. They are durable, they’re just heavy enough, and they give a crisp smack on the pavement with each jump. I prefer them over vinyl or rope.
For littles up to age eight or ten, I suggest the six-foot rope. Ages eight to adult will use a seven-foot rope. I own both these ropes and love them. The six-foot rope is my absolute favorite–it’s more heavy duty and it gets the most use at my house.
