I had a short trip to Dollar General today. I wanted to test out the new digital coupon program and use the $2.00/$2.01 purchase digital store coupon. It looks like most of the Dollar General digital coupons are manufacturer coupons, but if an offer says “Dollar General Store Coupon” in the upper left-hand corner then it seems to be a true store coupon and can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon.
I grabbed the smaller package of Cascade Platinum ActionPacs. These are on sale for $3.50 this week, and we received a try-me-free mail-in rebate in this month’s P&G insert. If you do not have the insert rebate, look for one in-store. I also grabbed some cheap Children’s Advil with the high-value coupon from the 9/28 RP. Lastly, I grabbed cheap Trix cereal. The boxes had $1.00/1 peelies, so I decided to take advantage of the buy two get one free promotion. Remember, Dollar General policy allows us to use coupons on items made free by a sale.
