Did the official launch date for Amazon Prime Day just get announced? According to a variety of websites and news sources, Amazon Prime Day is said to start on July 16 (a week later than previous years).
The dead giveaway? An image that was spotted by TechRadar on the Amazon UK website:
Here’s what we know so far:
Amazon Prime Day will take place on Tuesday, July 17 with deals starting at noon the day before. If the above image is correct, that means deals will be live for 36 hours, making it the longest Prime Day ever (last year, Prime Day ran for 30 hours).
Everyone originally predicted Prime Day to be on July 10 and July 11, but that’s when the semi-finals for the FIFA World Cup will be held.
