Rite Aid is one of the country’s top drugstores for prescriptions and health needs like toilet paper and hand sanitizer. It also happens to be one of the Krazy Coupon Lady’s favorite places to save money.

According to Rite Aid’s CEO’s statement regarding COVID-19, Rite Aid will continue to remain fluid and update store policies as needed. Check back on KCL and RiteAid.com for updates.

In the meantime, here are tips for shopping at Rite Aid during the coronavirus pandemic.

Rite Aid hours

Your local Rite Aid hours will stay the same — no changes are being made to open and close times. Check with your local Rite Aid for specifics, because hours vary by location.

Senior shopping hours

Rite Aid senior shopping hour happens every day from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

Rite Aid supply and shopping limits

Select products online are limited to four like items per person. For example, you can only buy Daylogic hand soap in quantities of four.

In stores, the policy may vary, but select products generally are limited to six items per person. High-demand products like toilet paper and hand sanitizer are limited to two per person at some stores.

Supply restocks

Restocking happens once per week and varies by store. For instance, the Rite Aid near me restocks on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Call your local store for details.

Returns

Keep your receipt or use your wellness+ rewards card to make returns up to 90 days after purchase for a full refund — in store and online. Rite Aid’s return policy hasn’t changed due to the coronavirus outbreak.

See the Rite Aid in-store return policy and Rite Aid Online return policy here.

Rite Aid pharmacy and prescriptions

Refill prescriptions using the Rite Aid app or RiteAid.com, and pick up from the pharmacy in store or at pharmacy pickup windows.

Some locations offer prescription delivery services as well; locations eligible for delivery are found at RiteAid.com. Depending on your prescription, delivery fees may be waived. Call your local pharmacist for more info. For medication information and care instructions, there is a 24/7 customer support line at 1-800-RITE-AID or live chat at RiteAid.com.

Customers are advised to talk to their pharmacists about early prescription refill authorizations, as well as 90-day refills so that they can make fewer trips to the pharmacy.

Rite Aid pickup and delivery

Although you can pick up prescriptions from your car at Rite Aid, they do not offer curbside pickup for other items.

Instead, opt for Rite Aid delivery, and get free delivery on orders $34.99 or more. Often you can get discount codes from sites like RetailMeNot.com. Right now, use code GET15OFF to save $15 on an order of $75 or more.

Keep in mind that due to high demand, some orders may take several weeks to deliver.
