If you live in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, and Mississippi then Winn-Dixie may be your regular grocer. As one of the few grocery stores that still double coupons, it’s usually a great place to score stock-up prices — at least under normal circumstances. But what about Winn-Dixie savings during the COVID-19 outbreak? Read on for some helpful tips for shopping Winn-Dixie during the coronavirus pandemic:

Winn-Dixie hours

As of March 23, most Winn-Dixie stores are open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. daily. Locations in Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana are open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m on weekdays.

Seniors and high-risk customers can shop at the designated time of 8 a.m. – 9 a.m., Monday through Friday.

First responder shopping hours

Healthcare providers and first responders can shop at the designated time of 8 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Winn-Dixie supply and shopping limits

No official policies on product limitations have been reported. I spoke with a Winn-Dixie employee and they explained some stores are implementing limits on items like meat, paper goods, and cleaners as expected. Keep an eye out for postings at your local store.

Supply restocks

Winn-Dixie is getting trucks with restock items multiple times a week, but they don’t come on a specific schedule. Employees are restocking daily as product arrives. The best time to shop is in the mornings because that’s usually when shipments come in.

The normal Winn-Dixie return policy is temporarily suspended. As of now, refunds and exchanges are not being offered on anything.

Winn-Dixie pharmacy and prescriptions

Prescriptions still need to be picked up in person at Winn-Dixie. All pharmacy locations are now open at 8 a.m. on weekdays to allow high-risk customers extra time to fill and pick up their medicines. During the weekend, pharmacies will be open at the usual time of operation.

Winn-Dixie pickup and delivery

Winn-Dixie grocery pickup is not currently a service that’s provided at this chain.

Grocery delivery is available at Winn-Dixie through Shipt. To use this service, you’ll need to sign up for a Winn-Dixie delivered by Shipt account. A yearly or monthly membership fee covers unlimited deliveries on orders of $35 or more. Pay $99 for the year, or $14 per month. Orders under $35 have a delivery fee of $7.

It’s important to note that coupons cannot be used when ordering groceries delivered by Shipt, but BOGO deals will still apply.
