Scentsy Giveaway! Full Size Warmer + 3 Bars!! »

I have GREAT NEWS for anyone wanting to shop Rite Aid! We get so many questions about Rite Aid’s coupon policy and so many checkers and managers telling couponers BAD INFORMATION!! Here is the real deal, print this policy, learn it and use it at the store!!

If your store isn’t following this coupon policy, call 1.800.RITEAID and speak with a customer service representative, while you are still in the store. This should clear up any problems.

    Here are the highlights!

    1. One internet coupon can be used per item. That’s right, per item NOT per transaction like so many of you have been told.
    2. There is a $5 limit PER (Printable) COUPON, also NOT per transaction.
    3. During a B1G1 FREE Sale, 2 Coupons can be used.

Thank you for taking the time to contact us. Coupons, and their face value,
cannot be exchanged for cash. Front-end competitor coupons will not be
honored at Rite Aid. Coupons are to have a valid expiration date, those that
are expired or ineligible will be returned to the customer.

One internet coupon can be used per item; however, there is a $5.00 limit on
each internet coupon. Similar to manufacturer’s coupons, only one internet
coupon is accepted for each item, unless coupled with a manufacturer’s or
valuable coupon found in a Rite Aid circular.

When items are featured on a Buy One, Get One Free promotion, up to two
coupons can be used against the items being purchased, as long as the net
price does not go below zero for the item being purchased. The register will
automatically calculate any sales tax due on a zero sales transaction based
upon your state and local laws.

Thanks so much for posting this. I have been afraid to venture into our local Rite-Aids. Called both stores in the past and got totally different answers to the same questions.

At the Rite Aid in Caldwell yesterday, I used 3 IP coupons, 4 mfr's coupons, and 4 Rite Aid coupons in one transaction, and it went off without a hitch. Cashier was super friendly and didn't question my coupons at all, except to comment on my boatload of savings. :o ) I think a lot of it depends on who you get …

I totally agree with Rachel. There's a particular cashier at my local Rite Aid that looks over everything with a fine tooth comb. All my coupons are legit she's just impossible. We do take IP's we dont' take IP's… I just got sick of her so I leave and come another time when she's not working.

sorry, but what is a "front end" competitor coupon? is that a catalina or a coupon printed with your receipt? or a store coupon? thanks!

This is so good to see! I felt so bad when I sent a friend into RiteAid to do what SHOULD HAVE BEEN a very easy rebate diaper deal with the $5 off coupon and it was a disaster…she left in tears and has sworn off couponing. I hate when someones first coupon experiece is due to a cashiers misunderstanding of their policy. Had we had this info … her deal would have went through just fine (mine went through no problem just the day before)
This type of info helps everyone, including the store!! thanks a million!!

Has the policy changed at all? I went today and was told by the cashier that she just got a sheet from corporate saying they can only accept $5 in internet coupons per transaction. She may have just been reading it wrong since she also wouldn’t let me use two manufactures coupons for 2 of the same item since the coupon said one per purchase.
