I did GREAT with this coupon! Sally Hansen HD nail polish and crackle nail polish is on clearance for $1.56!! I was able to get 7 bottles of nail polish for $9 instead of retail price of around $60. I threw a few extra things in the cart to get to the $12 mark and it worked out perfect!!!

Has anyone tried the Revlon deal twice?  I bought foundation earlier this week ($13.99) and used my $4 off and received $4 ECB.  But at the bottom of my receipt, it has that I have $6.01 until I get my next $4 ECB, not the usual “Limit Reached” or something like that.  But the ad says “Limit 1″.

    • Anonymous says:

Yep! The Revlon deal has an increased limit to 6 :)

      • kcl is there a mq for rimmel csmetic produts, my cvs has a lot of cosmetics on clearence.

$4.00 off 12.00 Cosmetic purchase. Has anyone tried to use this coupon for anything other than make up; such as body wash or something. This is a good coupon, but I rarely where makeup.

I went to cvs today and bought the 2 covergirl lashblast mascaras they were $8.79 at my store but the cashier took off the $4.00 off of $12.00 cosmetic coupon fine but for the buy one get one free coupon she only allowed me $4.40 not the full $7.50 like the coupon says, she said that she could only give me $4.40 because that is what the 1/2 off one costed. Was that right or what, i mean why do we couponers always have so many problems with cashiers.

    • I had the same problem today and decided on not buying the mascara. I thought that was just silly to only give me 4.40 off. Why would we take our bogo q to cvs to get 4.40 off and pay 8.99 for the second one? I would rather go to walmart and pay like 6 bucks for both. Its sad that it all depends on your cashier and how thier day is going! I think cashiers need to just put a smile on & remember that w/ our coupons we give them thier paycheck!

    • The same happened to me. It depends on the cashier. I was able to use the BOGO, $1 off for a CG product and $4 off of $12. I paid $3.98 for two but all of this was applied to my beauty awards so I also get a $5 ECB’s for beauty.

I went to my CVS today and did this deal:
    (2) CoverGirl Lash Blast (One @ $9.99, One @ $5)
    (1) Physician’s Formula Blush at $12.49

    Used:
    $4 off $20 purchase
    (2) $4 off $12 cosmetic’s CRT
    (1) BOGO CoverGirl Lash Blast (took off $7.50 max value)
    (1) $1 off 1 CoverGirl Product (Called customer service and this is correct for their policy)
    (1) $3 Peelie I found on select Physician’s Formula cosmetics

Paid $3.98, Received $5 ECB for Physician’s Formula…$1.02 MM! Even without the $4 off $20 coupon, it is a good deal. My store’s prices are very high, so your deals may be better than mine.

  6. What about the maybelline eyeshadow singles for 3.99? If you buy 4, use the crt and mqs, after the eb they’re only 1.24 each….

  7. I actually did this a little differently… I got two of the cg mascaras (8.99+4.49) and a pack of pf eyeliners for brown eyes (10.99) and used the bogo q, the $1/1 q, and 2 of the $4/12 crts. :3 My cashier did deduct 8.99, but even at the actual max value, it’s a great deal. 24.47-8-7.50-1 = 7.97+tax and get 5EB back. it also put me halfway towards my next bc reward. I did the cg and pf together because the cg was 13.48, 1.48 more than the required $12 for the crt… the extra meant I could do the pf deal without picking something $12 or more.

  8. Jenifer Lemerand says:

I got CoverGirl mascara, BOGO 50% off, so that brought me to around $13. They took off the $4 off $12 cosmetics coupon, and I had a BOGO free coupon for the particular mascara. After coupons and before tax I paid $0.25 cents for each mascara, which were regularly $9!!

  9. Anonymous says:

Some of the Physicians Formula products that are listed for $13.99 (like the bronzers) have a $3.00 peelie attached to them! If you stack that with the CVS coupon ($4.00/$12.00) You only pay $6.99 and you’ll receive a $5.00 ECB, which is like getting it for $1.99!!!

I already did this deal and it worked perfectly :D

  10. I got 2 covergirl mascara – they were 8.99 each, cvs is having a bogo 50 % off, then if you use the coupon that was in sundays paper for bogo free, a $ 1.00 off any covergirl and the $ 4 off 12 CVS coupon they are free

    8.99+4.49-8.99-1.00-4=.51 moneymaker :)

    • Anonymous says:

Do they really allow you to use the BOGO coupon and $1 off in same transaction?

      • I tried this yesterday my local CVS didn’t let the $1 one go through.  It beep and the manager said since it was b1g1 50% and a b1g1 free coupon it wouldn’t work..

        • The manager was wrong. CVS ALWAYS lets things stack with sales. Mine didn’t beep. Maybe it was because you did the $1 q first? I did the bogo q first…

          • Anonymous says:

I did too! I usually just set the coupons out and the cashier will let me know which ones to use first. In this case I used the BOGO first then the $4/$12 CVS coupon then the $1 off Covergirl.

      • Anonymous says:

Use BOGO coupon 1st, then $4/$12 CVS coupon then the $1/Covergirl. It should work, it did for me twice.

    • I thought the BOGO coupon said up to $7.99?  That’s why I didn’t buy Covergirl mascara last night.

      • Anonymous says:

The CoverGirl B1G1 coupon has a maximum value of $7.50. Please do not allow your cashier to deduct more than $7.50 because they will not get fully reimbursed. Also, CVS does allow a $/1 coupon along with a B1G1 coupon typically, but this varies per store/cashier. HTH’s!

        • Anonymous says:

I still don’t understand this (on this, or other deals).  The b1g1 coupons always, always say “Limit one coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated.”  So why would you ever be able to use an additional dollars off coupon?  I feel like I’m missing something.

        • Kayla King says:

I’m confused… so why aren’t you able to do that??!?!  I couldn’t find anything in the coupon policy about it… I actually called the corporate office because I wasn’t able to use the $1/1 coupon.

    • Anonymous says:

It shouldn’t be a moneymaker if it was rung up right. The coupon max is only $7.50. That’s all that it should of took off. Not the regular price of the mascara, $8.99.

  11. Anonymous says:

This is what I will do if I get 2 of the CRTs to turn some ECBs to cash.

Buy 2 CoverGirl/Olay Simply Ageless products at $16 (will be $24 after BOGO 50%)
    Use 2 $4/$12 CRTs
    Use 2 $1/1 mfr coupon from P&G 6/3
    Total OOP = $14
Submit for $10 rebate wyb $20 CoverGirl Simply Ageless (google it, it’s a new P&G rebate)
    net = $4, plus $24 ($2.40) towards Beauty Bucks.

Not bad for nice makeup.  I’m going to get the primer and the corrector – they are great.

  12. Anonymous says:

I used my $4/$12 to buy 2 Maybelline eye liners which were priced at 6.29. After the $4/$12, 2 $1/1 mfr coupons, and EBs, they were 1.79 each. Also, the Maybelline sensational lip gloss was on clearance for 3.69. If you buy 4 and use the $4/$12 and 4 $1/1 mfr coupons, they’d be around 1.69 each.

  13. I know that the 98% rule applies to EB deals but, just out of curiosity, does it also apply to CVS Qs?  For instance, could you get two P.F. concealers for 5.99ea and still use the 4.00/12.00?  Or does it have to be 12.00 or more?

    • Sally Jewell says:

It has to be $12 or more. I’ve posted brags in the past and had them removed because they were .02 cents off  from making the amount needed. So the coupon would work (no beeps) but would be considered fraudulent. HTHs

      • Anonymous says:

Uh oh! I thought it applied to the coupons too. Thats weird though because they have always taken them. Now I feel terrible!

      • Thanks!  I went to CVS tonight and found out it didn’t matter because the lowest P.F. item (concealer) was 6.29.  I nixed the P.F. and did the 4 Covergirl mascaras for 8.99 with 2 BOGOs (7.50) and 2 4.00/12.00. I didn’t even bother with the Covergirl 1.00/1 because so many people said it didn”t work.  Paid .99 each.

        • Can’t figure out how you only paid .99 each. You say you bought 4 Covergirl mascaras for 8.99 (I assume you mean ea. one) so cost w/be 35.96  with 2 BOGOs (7.50 x 2 = $15. off) and 2 $4/$12. So 35.96-15=20.96-8=12.96 for 4 CG mascaras. That’s 3.24 ea.

          • Anonymous says:

Actually she’s right. Covergirl is on sale BOGO 50% off. She bought 2 @ $8.99 & 2 @ 50% off $4.49. That equals $26.96. Minus $15 in BOGO cpns equals $11.96. Minus $8 in CVS cpn. Equals…$3.96 for all 4…$0.99 each.
I did this same deal except I was able to use the $1 off Covergirl coupon in conjunction with the BOGO coupon. (Per their coupon policy it is allowed). I paid $1.96 for 4 or $0.49 each.
I might just go back and grab another 2 tonight! :)

          • Yes, Mari is right.  I forgot to specify the BOGO 50% ad in my post.

  14. Sally Jewell says:

Another way to use the coupon is look on their clearance shelves… I got lucky, I found L’Oreal blush and concealer for 50% off, each was 6.39 (12.79 reg price). So…

    12.78 – 4.00 crt = 8.78 – (2) $2.00 Manufacturer’s coupons = 4.78 for both or $2.39

Saved $20.8 with coupons & clearance combined!

    • Unfortunately, my CVS doesn’t have ‘clearance shelves’. They just tag things and wait for them to go out. My Rite-Aid is the same way. It’s smart of them, actually. If they keep it there, people that like the product will still see it, and they don’t have to move the item and they don’t have to use the price gun. xD

      • dayna lloyd says:

I find that some CVS’s clearance shelves are hit and miss.  Sometimes there are items in a clearance section, other times I’m wandering around the aisles looking for clearance items.
