Someone forgot to do the dishes last night. I foresee a cleaning session in the near future! That said, I’ll need a surplus of cleaning supplies. One sponge won’t cut it. Neither will old T-shirt rags. With this deal on up & up scrubbers, I might be inspired to do the dirty work! (Key word: might.)

This coupon made the register beeped. Luckily, my cashier went ahead with it.

I went to a Target in IL and the woman would not accept the coupon because she said a cleaning item means a chemical cleaning item. I’m planning on going to a different Target on my lunch break tomorrow so we’ll see if it works….

i live in los angeles, i so not see sponge coupon on the target website. Any one knows about it.

  4. Sara Pope says:

My Target in Fremont, CA (the one on Pacific Commons if anyone is reading this that lives in my area) refused to let me use these stating that the coupons were ONLY for the cleaning product shown on the coupon.  :/

i just got back from target here in az. i printed two of these coupons and was able to purchase two packs of sponges. The coupon did beep- but the cashier still put it through.. Guess I got lucky?!

  6. I couldn’t use this coupon on sponges either last time.  I’m wondering though, if sponges are not considered a cleaning item, what are they considered to be then??

I know… I was really upset because it clearly is a cleaning item and there is no specifications other than it cannot be a trial or travel size.. The manager told me cleaning items referred to disinfecting wipes, etc, not scrubbers… I explained that it was in the cleaning product aisle and the coupon said it could be any up and up cleaning item… And we disagreed, so I politely chose not to get the scrubbers…

  7. Goldsworthy_85 says:

so how do you stock up if you can only print 2?

  8. Anonymous says:

I also could not buy the scrubbers… I was told by the manager scrubbers were not cleaning items… After 25 minutes of trying to explain myself, I gave up, no scrubbers for me… Excited for those who were able to get them!!!

  9. Texas Mama says:

My Target would not allow me to use these coupons on sponges… the register beeped and apparently there is no arguing with the register.  Sigh.  I hope others have better luck than I did – what a great deal!

I wanted to stock up as well, but like someone else said the Q beeped. The cashier manager only allowed me to take one after some discussion on what was and was not a cleaning item (if its in the cleaners sections then it must be a cleaning item)
Im still debating printing more and trying my luck at a different store… (there are 4 in my area)

  11. Good luck with Target letting you use these on the sponges. Back when they were $1.00/Up and Up Cleaning Supply, the picture on the coupon was of a spray bottle and so the cashiers and the managers all felt that I HAD to buy that exact product, even after explaining to them that they’re not going to put a picture of every single cleaning supply on the coupon. I had 6 I was able to print and in the whole time the coupon was valid, I was only able to use 1.

My Target allows 4 identical coupons per transaction. But it’s true that Target coupon states “limit one coupon or offer per guest”. Last time I used this coupon, it beeped every single time and my cashier  questioned if sponges were considered cleaning items.

Really??? The sponges are in the CLEANING section…what else would they be used for?? :)

      Thanks for the heads up!

Anyone else not seeing the coupon on the Target site? I swear I’ve looked everywhere!

  14. ashley says:

hell yeah this is a stock up price! lol sorry Im so excited. Sponges are good for cleaning :))

  15. Purpeaceple says:

Where can these be located in target?

  16. Lmgwc2 says:

is this a stock up price?

    • 2 sponges for 24 cents is for me.  It’s hard to “stock up” though because you can only use 1 coupon per shopping trip.  Some people have been able to use more than 1, but I’ve never tried it.

      • KI says:

I’m pretty sure targets policy for their store Q’s is limit 4 in one trip. I do it all the time without problems, it’s printed on the Q.

        • Anonymous says:

Actually, on most target coupons it says “limit one per household” but some targets allow more than one…at least that’s what it says on the ones you print from their site.

    • This is a 3-month stock-up price. Each scrubber is only $0.13 cents (there’s 2 per package). If you’re in need of sponges, this is a great opportunity!
