I checked both targets in my town and neither one have the simple pleasures! I wonder if I should wait and see if they eventually get some or go ahead and get them at CVS while they are2/$6 there. Anyone else have trouble finding these at target? Also I have the mfr coupon and target coupon so can I use the target coupon only at target? Or could I use it at CVS?

I just have same issue with Target couple days ago. Just filed a complaint to BBB of Minnesota against Target Corp.

The coolest thing happened today. I am a a new couponer…so this is still exciting for me. I had the Target 1.00/1 coupon and the 2.00/1 coupon, but too it to Walmart instead, I ended up getting 4 packs and they paid me 8 cents.

Couldn’t find it in the SS 8/19

To the target lady below… i had the same issues with a staples(cedar city UT) and their coupons depends on managers at stores.. and a walgreens (hurricane Ut) It really is fusterating when people do not understand coupons and that it doesnt hurt the store. I hate when my sister gets a deal with coupons an hr away then I go to the same store just in my area and they have a problem with my coupons. Drives me mad!

Is it me or Target is a pain to deal with especially when coupon is involved in the transactions. I was at the Bellingham,WA Target today and for some reason the cashier couldn’t get the coupon to scan (coupon from the newspaper inserts) and so he called up the “manager” who told him that they can’t adjust the coupons. When we showed the cashier a copy of their own policy then the manager said well I can only let you buy four of the RoseArt.

We pointed out to her (Erin) was the so called manager who doesn’t know that they could adjust down a coupon. She said the kids are not considered as “persons” to purchase the school supplies, we asked her “are you saying our kids are not people”, she said I didn’t say that, I just said that they can’t buy the items. Jesus, it’s not like I need or want to use crayons. The kids are the real end users of these products, there’s so much B.S. with this store. She then went and said that the coupon state that “limit one coupon per purchase and customer must pay taxes”.

She kept insisting that limit one coupon per purchase means for the whole transaction, I argued with her that means i’m purchasing each item with each coupon as stated on the coupon. She even said she is a regular couponer, and that she knows what she’s saying, of course I left without buying anything. It’s a one sided argument and 100% of the time they can do whatever they feel like it.

She told me that their store limit four coupons of the same type per family, yep she said per family. I don’t recall seeing anything that says per family. She also said to me that alot of people are photo copying the coupons, I turned to her and said does these coupons clipped from the newspaper inserts look like photo copies? Jesus, what the hell is with these people that works at Target!
They always try their best not to sell the products to you if you are using any coupons.

It appears to me that each of these people make up their own policy as they please. Might as well say ” limit one coupon per human race”. The Target at Bellingham, WA, has the worst employees and worst customer service, they make sure you leave unhappy.

No wonder they are called “TARGET”, their target is to alienate as many customers as possible. That woman named “ERIN” that works at the Bellingham, WA Target store is a total jerk, who needs to learn how to read what the terminology of each coupons means. She doesn’t even understand what “purchases” means, wow seems like anyone can be a manager these days, as long as you need a job.

Sorry guys for the big long complaint, still so mad.

Sorry, that sounds like a frustrating trip! If you have another Target coupon in your area, it might be worth it to try couponing there instead. You can also try contacting corporate to see if they can help you with your concerns about your regular store.

I think Target changed their policy to 4 identical coupons per transaction. As far as the Target coupons stating one per person, I haven’t had any problems separating mine into two transactions for my son to purchase one also.

OMG i totally get you u, i get sooo frustrated as well but usually at walgreens or rite aid but i never really have problems at Target since theres soo many cashiers…. you should really put in a complaint!
i got a lot of roseart items for free and they automatically adjusted down to my total which was under $1…. maybe next time try either going to a different target or look for a young male cashier and usually those just scan your coupons right through.. (my experience) …and the thing about the target coupons stating “one per person” i have used up to 2 like coupons in a transaction & really nothing happens, the coupon doesnt beep either, its just those stupid cashiers that act like they own target.
and what i also do is go to 2 or 3 different cashiers (depending on how many like target coupons i have) that way if i try using them all with one cashier i dont run into problems, yes its a little more time consuming but you save yourself the frustration

    • zara says:

if I remember correctly, those coupons say 3 or more, so what’s her deal,,in fact I brought more on both coupons,,,here in N Texas,,,man people were buying them by the dozen,,,so it seems those guys up there were making up their rules as they went along, good for you, standing your ground…these guys need to wake up sometimes, we are not out to empty their stores,,,well maybe not all the time..;)

    • yaya says:

haha im from bellingham 2!!! and ive never had a problem w their target store!

I know you’re mad but I just want to let you know that your rant made me laugh. I feel bad for the experience you went through but I loved the way you retold it.

    • I hear ya!! I even looked for the young male cashier at target and he read the tiny print OF EACH COUPON!…Mind you, I had like 20 coupons! ugh

    • Christine says:

yeah the bellingham store is a pain! I had issues with them before…
