So the coupon for a “color cosmetic” can be used on the foundations and powders? Just wondering, I don’t want any odd looks. :)

We think so! “Color cosmetic” is a pretty vague term, and we think that most cosmetics would qualify as color cosmetics!

My Walgreens didn’t have much on clearance. Just some eyeshadow and nothing else. So my trip was a bust. Bummer

selection. I did notice they had a clearance sale on Sally henson nail
polish marked down to $1.80..needless to say it was completely picked
        over lol

I will not be shopping at walgreens in Harding county Kentucky anymore because I had the worst experience today.I was trying to get two free IQ meters in two separate transactions, but once the cashier saw I only paid 86 cents for like a $100 worth of items, she called her manager who refused to do the second transaction. They made me feel like a thief and told me only one transaction per customer,I had to leave almost everything,I hate some of the walgreens in Kentucky.I wil never shop there again, they ruined my whole day.

But either way there’s ways for a store employee to tell the customer things… For what she’s writing they weren’t nice… So, that’s the wrong part… I had a problem the other day at a Walgreens in Lafayette, LA too… I found 2 Robitussin (pills) on clearance for $3.00 ea and 2 Chapsticks for $0.75 ea, also on clearance. The cashier wasn’t adjusting the prices to clearanced ones till I told her after telling me the total. Then, when I handed her the q’s she adjusted the Robitussin mqs to $2.99 ea. I asked her why she was doing that and she said: “It’s the way it is because they won’t allow you to get these for free”.. I said: “Says who?” And she looked at me as if I hadn’t taken a shower in months and called the manager, who told her I can use the mqs for the full amount. Then she decided she needed to adjust my $1/2 Chapstick q to $0.75 and I told her that it’s in the purchase of 2, so she didn’t need to. So, apparently she didn’t like that and, one of the Chapsticks was ringing clearance for $0.25 but had a clearance sticker for $0.75 and she adjusted the price up to $0.75… It was a nightmare! Cause she also voided the first transaction and refused to scan my rewards card the second time… But after paying I had to call the manager because I noticed I could’ve gotten 5000 points, so he didn’t like it but fixed the problem and I got the 5000 points but a transaction that was supposed to be done in 5 minutes took like an hour! Sometimes employees take it personal…

Some of the Walgreens employees act like the money is coming out of their own pocket, they need to take courses on customer service.I’m sorry for the way they treated you,I’m glad you stood your ground.
