We all know we should recycle product packaging, and thankfully, there are a lot of handy product containers we can reuse these days! Pringle cans, for example, have many uses to help you get organized. Here are five of our favorites:
1. Spaghetti holder
How often do you really cook the entire bag of spaghetti? Hardly ever, right? Instead of throwing an open bag of noodles back on the pantry shelf, solve that problem by putting the extras in a Pringles can.
2. Junk drawer catch-all
I was cleaning my junk drawer this week and noticed loads of rubber bands, paper clips, staples, etc. This container is perfect for corralling those supplies! Plus, it fits in my top drawer nicely.
3. Vase
Taking flowers from your garden to a friend or neighbor and don’t want to spend money on an expensive vase? Take a cute piece of scrapbook paper and cover the can to create a fun vase for those flowers. Just don’t put water in the can without protecting it first — you may want to line it with a plastic bag.
4. Cookie tin
Stack in your cookies, cover with paper or ribbon and voila! You now have the perfect teacher or neighbor gift.
5. Treasure chest
My kids love to bring all kinds of treasures into the house: sticks, rocks, leaves–you name it. I started giving them this empty chip container to hold their “treasures.” It works wonders at keeping all those small items organized!
