had a great trip at Walgreens today. My daughter loves Lucky Charms, so we stocked up while it was on sale, and I was running low on contact solution and was happy to see it on sale for $0.99 at Walgreens after getting $5 in Register Rewards back.
Here is what we bought and the coupons we used:
6 boxes of Lucky Charms General Mills cereals – on sale $1.88 (regular price $4.49)
-Used two $0.50 off ONE BOX Lucky Charms cereal
-Used two $1.00 off TWO BOXES General Mills Big G cereals
-Used two $1 Register Rewards I earned last week for buying Starbucks drinks
Net Price: $6.28 (or $1.05 each)
4 Bausch+Lomb Renu Multipurpose Solution, 12 oz., on sale $7.99 (regular price $9.79) Get 5,000 Balance Rewards points (value $5-$6.25) for each one purchased
-Used four $2.00 off renu fresh multi-purpose solution
Price at Register: $23.96, but get 20,000 Balance Rewards points
Net Price: $3.96 (or $0.99 each)
Total spent $10.24 for $66.10 worth of stuff, plus I now have more than 40,000 points, meaning I have enough points to redeem for $50. I’ll post when I use my $50 in points and let you know what I get.
