While festive cookies get all the attention during the holiday season, don’t let it distract you from the other essential round-shaped treat: doughnuts. And one of the biggest doughnut food holidays of the year happens at Krispy Kreme on 12/12: Day of the Dozens.
Because of all the twelves in the date, Krispy Kreme does what they pretty much always do — practically give away doughnuts. Unfortunately, if you’re wanting to get your own doughy wreaths of sugary goodness this holiday season you’ll have to wait until 2024, because this year’s Day of the Dozens is over. Rewards members got a jump on the deal with early access on Dec. 11!

Krispy Kreme Day of the Dozens lets you buy one dozen, get one for $1 all day.
To celebrate 12/12, Krispy Kreme lets customers get a dozen doughnuts for $1 when they buy another dozen at full price (or a 16-count of minis). The promo is available at Krispy Kreme locations, or by ordering online for pickup or delivery using a promo code (it was DOZEN in 2023).
KCL predicts the next Krispy Kreme Day of the Dozens will return on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024.
Krispy Kreme hasn’t officially announced that Day of the Dozens will return in 2024, but we’re pretty confident they’ll bring it back for another year. The promotion is always on 12/12, so that’s when we expect it to come back.
Get $1 dozen Original Glazed doughnuts on Dec. 12, Day of the Dozens.
In 2023, you could get a dozen of Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnuts for just $1 with purchase of any other dozen doughnuts.
That meant you could even buy a dozen Original Glazed (reg. $14.49) or a dozen from the seasonal Elf Collection (reg. $18.99) and everything in between to qualify for the $1 Original dozen.
All you had to do to get the deal was visit your local Krispy Kreme and ask for the Day of the Dozens Krispy Kreme deal or order online at KrispyKreme.com or in their app. For online and app orders you had to use the promo code DOZEN during checkout. The $1 dozen deal was limited two in shop and one online.
Krispy Kreme Rewards Members Bonus
If you’re a member of the free Krispy Kreme Rewards program, you’ll get a whole extra day to enjoy the Day of the Dozens. In 2023, Rewards members could buy one dozen, get a dozen for $1 on 12/11 — as well as 12/12.
Get two Original Glazed dozens to maximize your savings.
The best overall deal in 2023 was to get two dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts. Instead of paying $28.98, you only paid $15.49 for the two dozens — a 46.5% discount!
If you got the Elf doughnuts along with the glazed dozen, it was still be a good deal — $19.99 instead of $33.48, which was a 40.3% discount.
NOTE: Each person could only use this deal twice per location, so the maximum number was 48 doughnuts you could get per location with this discount.
Get a discounted Krispy Kreme gift card to increase your savings.
