Bath & Body Works shoppers are loyal. I mean, their dedication to Candle Day, Bath & Body Works Halloween, and knowing the ins and outs of every single Bath & Body Works hack are all testaments to this. With that in mind, the retailer reciprocated the love with their first-ever Bath & Body Works Member Appreciation Days. The event ran from Aug. 21 – 27, 2023, and we expect it back the last week of August in 2024.
Online deals, which ran all week long, included free shipping on $50 online orders and $10 off $30 in-stores and online. Plus, rewards members had exclusive access to a limited-edition Gingham sleepwear collection (which sold out quickly). The one gripe we had with the weeklong deals is that you couldn’t stack the free ship code with other Bath & Body Works coupons. Still, Member Appreciation Days are a welcome addition to the Bath & Body Works sale schedule.

When were the Bath & Body Works Member Appreciation Days last year?
The event ran from Aug. 21 – 27, 2023. And Bath & Body Works recommended checking their app daily for details (but we updated here daily so you knew what was on tap and when).
On your average day, Bath & Body Works tends to have limited-time offers, like Buy 3 Get 3 Full-Size Body Care, or 5/$27 hand soaps. Since they specifically called out this out as Bath & Body Works Member Appreciation Days, we were hopeful for a little something extra. And they delivered.
Laundry Scents and Fragrance Boosters were 2/$30 until Aug. 28, but they sold out before that.
Rewards members had the chance to shop Bath & Body Works Laundry Detergent and Fragrance Boosters 2/$30 (reg $19.95) online at BathAndBodyWorks.com until 5:59 a.m. ET on Aug. 28. However, scents sold out within hours. For example, at 6:30 a.m. PST on the first day of early access, we noticed Sun-Drenched Linen Fragrance Boosters were already gone.
There was also early access to fall scents.
Rewards members had exclusive shopping opportunities on new fall scents in Body Care, Candles, Wallflowers, and Air Fresheners online. Fragrances included Blueberry Maple Pancakes, Moonlit Martini, Champagne Apple & Honey, Cozy Vanilla Bourbon, and more.
All Week Long: Get $10 Off a $30 Purchase, Plus Free Shipping on $50+ Orders
Bath & Body Works kicked off Member Appreciation Days with a very sweet deal. From Aug. 21 – 28 at 5:59 am EST (hey, every last second counts), rewards members got $10 off a $30 purchase either in-store or online (only redeemable once, so you had to choose wisely). You had to either sign into your account online to retrieve the promo code to use during checkout OR show the barcode in your app at the register in-store.
Rewards members also got free shipping on orders over $50 online all week long.
The limited-edition Gingham Sleep Collection sold out within days!
Rewards members got exclusive access to the new limited-edition Gingham Sleep Collection, a riff on Bath & Body Works’ Gingham fragrances and signature pattern in clothing form. These pieces were not cheap, with the lowest-priced item a gingham sleep mask ($8.95). However, they sold out within days. We recommended members use their $10 off $30 promo code to get a slight deal on the PJs.
Bath & Body Works Rewards is free to join.
If you aren’t already a Bath & Body Works rewards members, we suggest you join ahead of this event in 2024. For starters, it’s completely free to join. Second, you earn 10 points for every $1 you spend at Bath & Body Works (online and in-store). Once you hit 1,000 points, you’re eligible for a free product of your choosing (up to $16.95 in value). So basically for every $100 you spend, you’ll get a full-size freebie.
Now keep in mind, if you return an item, the points you earned from that purchase will be deducted from your account balance. Fair is fair.
But it isn’t just those rewards points that are great, you also get access to new products first. For example, in July rewards members got an early crack at the Halloween collection before everyone else. And at the beginning of Aug. 2023, members could purchase the new Bath & Body Works laundry detergent during an early access sale (and each bottle was just $11.95 (reg. $19.95).
