After the first successful Walgreens myDays event this past July, they had another one Oct. 4 – 7 with a whole new lineup of offers. This four-day Walgreens savings event featured daily digital offers with plenty of opportunities to earn bonus Walgreens Cash.
As a Walgreens shopper, you’re definitely not going to want to miss the next myW Days event. Why? It’s a chance to rack up to 15 times the Walgreens Cash rewards on your purchases and claim discounts of 25% – 30% off with a promo code. Some savvy KCL employees were able to earn $144 – $176 in free Walgreens Cash rewards to spend on future purchases.

Walgreens’ myW Days is a twice-a-year, week-long event with lots of ways to earn Walgreens Cash.
The myW Days event is a week full of increased opportunities to get cash-back for your Walgreens purchases, in the form of Walgreens Cash — which spends like a store gift card.
Every day of the sale has a different Walgreens Cash offer. Some offers require you to buy something specific (like Walgreens-branded items) to get 15% back in Walgreens Cash, while others offer you a specific dollar amount in Walgreens Cash when you hit a spending threshold.
KCL predicts the next myW Days will begin Sunday, July 21, 2024.
Walgreens hasn’t officially announced the next date for their myW Days event, but based on what they've done in recent years, we here at KCL predict that it’ll take place between Sunday, July 21, and Saturday, July 27, 2024.
How do we make our prediction?
Last year's event took place Sunday, July 23 through Saturday, July 29, 2023. So if they're going for the same timeframe in 2024, that would be July 21-27.
1. The most recent Walgreens’ myW Days event ended at 11:59 p.m. local time on Saturday, Oct. 7.
The timing for this October myW Days made perfect sense, because the July myW Days event ended on a Saturday, too. And the dates corresponded nicely with the other big Prime Day competing sales that happen in early October:
Target Circle Week: Oct. 1 – 7
Walmart Deals – Holiday Kickoff: Oct. 9 – 12
Amazon Big Deal Days: Oct. 10 – 11
2. You could earn 15% Walgreens Cash rewards on all purchases during myW Days (usually it’s 1% – 5%).
While 15% is not as high as the rewards you could earn during their July myW Days event (back then it was 25%), getting 15% back in Walgreens Cash rewards is nothing to scoff at.
That’s because you typically earn just 5% in rewards on Walgreens-branded purchases and 1% on everything else, so this offer gives you up to 15x the Walgreens Cash. You just needed to clip the offer before you made a purchase Oct. 4 – 7.
TIP: Unlike other “sales” that involve deals on specific items, the myW Days event is a chance to earn rewards at a faster rate than usual on all your purchases. You’ll then get to apply those bonus rewards (your Walgreens Cash rewards) toward future purchases.
3. Each day had a special offer — like earning $20 Walgreens Cash on a $45+ purchase.
Here’s how each day of the event will went down (plus the bonus offers that lasted for the whole event):
Wednesday, Oct. 4: Earn 15% Walgreens Cash on Walgreens-branded items (expired).
You had to clip the offer to earn 3x the Walgreens Cash on any purchases from the Walgreens brand, like first aid supplies, facial product dupes, and vitamins. Look for items with “Walgreens” in the product name or the “W” logo in the corner to find eligible products. Here’s what we scored:
Ultra Soft Bath Tissue, 4 count: Pay $1.99 (reg. $4.99), receive $0.60 Walgreens Cash
Teardrop Blending Sponges, 3 count: Pay $0.99, receive $0.30 Walgreens Cash

TIP: This offer was stackable with the event-long 15% Walgreens Cash bonus offer, so you could actually earn 30% in Walgreens Cash rewards on Walgreens-branded items on Wednesday if you clipped both deals.
Thursday, Oct. 5: Earn $10 Walgreens Cash when you spend $30+ on Pickup or Same-Day Delivery (expired).
If you placed a 30-minute pickup or 1-hour delivery order for at least $30, you earned $10 in free Walgreens Cash.

4. Get $20 in Walgreens Cash when you get vaccinated for pneumonia, RSV, or COVID-19.
TIP: If you opened a myWalgreens credit card by Oct. 7 and made a purchase within 45 days, you earned $25 in Walgreens Cash.
5. Shop myW Days deals in store, online, or in the Walgreens app.
Walgreens has 9,000 locations across the U.S., and myW deals are available at each location, as well as online and in the Walgreens app.
Online purchases are available for free in-store pickup and one-hour delivery (delivery fees vary by location and store).
TIP: If you’re planning to submit your Walgreens receipts for any cash back rebates (like Ibotta), remember to ask the employee for your printed receipt before you pick up your order in-store.
6. If you’re 55 or older, you could use promo code SENIOR20 to save 20% on regular-priced items until Oct. 7.
Cash in on the Walgreens Senior Day savings during myW Days if you’re aged 55 or up. That’s because the dates of myW Days overlapped with their Senior Day savings (Oct. 1 – 7) event. You’d save 20% on regular-priced online purchases if you used promo code SENIOR20 at checkout.
A few additional items and brands are excluded from the promotion — like photo orders and all electronics — but we cover the basics in our guide to Walgreens Senior Day.
7. The summertime MyW Days event happened July 23 – 29, and it was their first one ever.
The summer event was the first time we ever saw a Walgreens savings event just for myWalgreens members, even though the free myWalgreens loyalty program has been around since 2020.
During the July myW Days, members received exclusive daily deals, offers, and the ability to earn rewards through bonus-earning opportunities and rewards accelerators. All you needed to do was clip the daily offers in your app or online and start shopping to rack up the bonus Walgreens Cash.

You can see the special offers changed each day in July 2023. Some Walgreens Cash bonuses only applied for in-app purchases, so you had to be flexible to claim all the savings. With select offers, you had to clip the digital coupon before shopping.

On Sunday, shoppers could earn up to 30% Walgreens Cash rewards on their top-shopped category in the app.
Keep in mind that Walgreens Cash is calculated after sale prices and store coupons, but before manufacturer coupons. Here were our favorite deal ideas using 30% Walgreens Cash back coupons:
On Sunday, shoppers got 30% Walgreens Cash back on their most shopped category. Stacking this with sale prices, promotions, and digital coupons amounted to free Dove body wash and cheap Scott paper products.
Monday, July 24:
You could have earned $10 Walgreens Cash rewards when you spent $20+ on groceries, snacks, or beverages. You had to clip the digital coupon in your myWalgreens account before you shopped. Eligible items displayed this offer: “Additional Perks: Spend $20+ in Grocery/Snack/Beverage, Earn $10 W Cash reward.”
The Monday offer was $10 Walgreens Cash back on a $20 snacks and beverages purchase. KCL stacked on the savings and found super cheap soda 12-packs.
Tuesday, July 25:
When you made a $35 purchase in the Walgreens app, you earned $15 Walgreens Cash rewards. You had to clip the digital coupon in your myWalgreens account before you shopped. This offer stacked with the week-long offer that gave all shoppers 25% rewards on all purchases. That’s a total of $23.75 back in rewards when you placed an order of $35 or more through their app ($15 + $8.75).
Once combined with any other weekly Walgreens Cash back offers, you could have brought home $35 worth of stuff for very cheap — or even free.
Stacking huge bonus rewards back with sale prices, promotions, and digital coupons amounted to several opportunities for very cheap or free shopping hauls. KCL was able to grab two bottles of Listerine mouthwash, two bottles of Dove body wash, and two tubes of Crest toothpaste for free with over a $10 moneymaker after rewards.
Wednesday, July 26
The advertised deal of the day for July 26, 2023, was for an extra 25% off $20 with code WAG25 or 30% off $60 with code WAG30 when you shopped online. However, I shared a different deal because using these promo codes might have affected your total and prevented you from earning Walgreens Cash.
Walgreens released a new one-day offer (in the Walgreens app) for $15 Walgreens Cash when you spent $30 or more online or in-store. This offer stacked with the week-long offer that gave all shoppers 25% rewards on all purchases. So if you spent $30, you got a total of $22.50 back in rewards ($15 + $7.50).
Once again, stacking huge bonus rewards back with sale prices, promotions, and digital coupons amounted to several opportunities for very cheap or free shopping hauls. KCL was able to grab 26 rolls of Scott and Bounty paper towels for free after rewards.
Thursday, July 27:
If you spent $45 or more on beauty and personal care items on Thursday, you earned $20 in Walgreens Cash rewards. You could stack this deal with the week-long offer that gave all shoppers 25% rewards on all purchases. It also stacked with the other Walgreens Cash and Register Reward promotions advertised on their circular.
Friday, July 28:
On Friday, you could get $10 in Walgreens Cash when you placed a pickup order of $10 or more. This daily deal was stackable with the week-long offer that gave all shoppers 25% rewards on all purchases. It also stacked with the other Walgreens Cash and Register Reward promotions advertised on their circular.
Saturday, July 29:
The last day of the MyW Days week was Saturday, July 29, 2023. You could receive an extra 10% in rewards, you could stack with the week-long offer that gave all shoppers 25% rewards on all purchases.
