Like lots of free loyalty program, PetSmart Treats gives members discounts, samples, and rewards for purchases all year long. But once a year, PetSmart levels up their perks and freebies during PetSmart Treats Month.
All April long, PetSmart gives Treats Members opportunities to earn Treats Points two to five times faster, get cash back for gift card purchases, and win $2,500 in coupons.
It’s totally free to sign up for the PetSmart Treats program; you can sign up in-store or online. Then you start earning points which you can cash in for freebies. We’ll tell you all about this and many other ways to save at PetSmart.

PetSmart Treats Members Month rewards loyalty club members with freebies and deals.
Throughout the month of April, PetSmart offers certain deals, savings, and giveaways just for members of their free Treats loyalty program. In addition to a big sweepstakes (with the chance to win one million Treats points), you can claim a free custom photo book, get double or even triple the points on services like grooming, and earn money back when you make certain purchases during the month.
KCL predicts the next PetSmart Treats Members Month will begin Monday, April 1, 2024.
PetSmart hasn’t officially announced the next date for their Treats Members Month, and 2023 was the first time they ever did this event. But if they follow what they did in 2023, we can expect Treats Members Month to last the entire month of April, starting on Monday, April 1, 2024.

Get a free custom photo book with your Treats membership in April — you just pay $6.99 for shipping.
Through May 3, 2023, Treats members could claim a free 19-page hardcover photo book from Mixbook.
You needed a promo code to claim this offer, so make sure you subscribe to PetSmart emails or ask a store associate for the code. I had trouble finding my activation code in my own email, so I messaged them on Facebook and got a code good through the end of July 2023!
TIP: The free customizable photo book is not 100% free, since you do have to cover the taxes and shipping fees, as well as any additional pages you add beyond the first 19. Your cheapest Mixbook shipping option is $6.99, so just keep that in mind.

You just needed to log in to your Treats account to activate these offers. They’ll automatically apply to any qualifying purchases you make, and your bonus Treats points get added to your account within 24 hours.
Redeem up to 20,000 points this week and you’ll get them all back on May 5 (to use through May 21)

You have to be a Treats member to get these deals.
The good news is signing up for PetSmart Treats is super easy — and it’s free. And you’ll earn points on every purchase at PetSmart (every $1 spent gets you eight points). After you reach 1,000 points, you’ll get a coupon good for $2.50.
Their points conversion isn’t quite as good as what you get with Petco Rewards, but hey, it’s something!
Treats membership gets you other perks year-round, like free shipping over $49.
As a Treats member, you’ll get some other year-round perks in addition to the Treats Members Month goodies in April.
Shipping is always free for orders over $49 (otherwise it’s $5.99 – $29.99 depending on your order total).
