The Southeastern-based grocery store can do all the heavy lifting for you for one flat fee, and this year’s Publix Thanksgiving dinner menu and prices are finally available as of Nov. 1, 2023. But you’ll have to place your order by Nov. 20 if you want pickup.
This year, their per-person Thanksgiving dinner cost comes out to less than $6 a serving. If you do choose to get your Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Publix, you’ll have to pick it up on the day before Thanksgiving, as Publix is not one of the grocery stores open on Thanksgiving Day.
If you do decide to go the Publix Thanksgiving dinner route (and if you’re sneaky), you can dispose of the evidence quietly and no one has to know this dinner wasn’t cooked by you.

The 2023 Publix Thanksgiving dinner includes six items and comes out to $7 – $8 per serving.
Publix offers three main varieties of fully-cooked Thanksgiving turkey dinner options. The small meal serves 7 – 10 people, and the large meal serves 14 – 18 people. The third option is the breast-only turkey dinner.

They also have premade Thanksgiving ham and pork dinners for $7 – $12.50 per serving.
The combination of sides you get with the ham dinners is slightly different, and the price per serving varies.

Place your order by Nov. 20 in order to pick it up in time for Thanksgiving.
You have to place your Publix Thanksgiving dinner order with a 48-hour notice. You can order through the Publix website or call your local deli. Just make sure you’re selecting your local store when placing the order.
Since you have to give 48-hour notice to order your meal, you won’t be able to utilize Publix Delivery or Publix Curbside pickup.
You paid $5.50 – $5.56 per serving for a Publix Thanksgiving dinner in 2022 — so prices are up 27% – 40%.
In 2022, the large dinner was $99.99 and could feed 14 to 18 people, making each serving as low as $5.56. The smaller dinner was $54.99 and served seven to 10 people, making each serving as low as $5.50.
That means you’re paying 27% more this year for a small Publix Thanksgiving dinner and 40% more for the large meal.
Will my meal be hot when I pick it up?
Nope. Your Publix meal will actually be chilled. They’ll provide you with heating instructions. Most of the items will take up to 2.5 hours to fully heat up.

You can still order a Publix Thanksgiving meal after the holiday.
While the premade meals aren’t available year-round, they are available throughout the holiday season in the deli department.
