American Airlines has announced a one-day sale for travel between Sept. 9 and Feb. 14, with the exception of several blackout dates.

The sale applies to hundreds of their routes within the US and Canada. Prices start at $154 round trip. To take advantage of this sale, you must travel Monday through Saturday and stay over a Saturday night. Tickets for this sale must be purchased by 11:59 p.m. (CDT), Aug. 30, 2012.

• Chicago to Raleigh – $186
• Albuquerque to Austin – $234
• Dallas to Kansas City – $196
• New York City to Baltimore – $188
