If you haven’t tried Yuupon yet, you’re missing out on some great hotel deals. This lesser-known travel deal site offers savings of 50 percent or more over standard hotel rooms, car rentals and airline rates.
Yuupon now provides the name of the hotel before you book, a great feature they needed to add. These deals don’t have a set “must purchase” date like the Groupon and Living Social deals, but they pull the offers once the set number of rooms has been sold.
Here’s a sample of this week’s Yuupon hotel deals:
- Amelia Island, FL — One night/two adults/$132 at the 4-star, beachfront Omni Amelia Island Plantation in Amelia Island, FL. The deal also includes breakfast daily. Travel between now and November 14, 2012.
- Chicago — One night/two adults and up to two kids/$87 at the Doubletree Chicago Magnificent Mile in downtown Chicago. Kids under 17 eat free with an adult at the hotel. Travel between now and February 28, 2012.
- Orlando — One night/two adults and up to two kids/$204 at the Wyndham Disney Bonnet Creek Resort, located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, just outside of Walt Disney World. The deal also includes free shuttle service to the Disney parks. Travel between now and February 28, 2013.
- San Diego — One night/two adults/$87 at the 3.5-star Doubletree San Diego Del Mar in San Diego, California. Travel between now and February 28, 2013.
To take advantage of one of these deals, visit Yuupon. Make sure to read the fine print and understand the restrictions before providing a credit card number. Yuupon deals no longer have a “book by” date. They expire when all of the allotted rooms have been taken.
