Another mixed bag of Internet offers this weekend, with a couple of airlines sitting out. Many of the largest airlines in the United States offer weekly, online-only fares, perfect for quick weekend getaways.
For travel novices, these Internet deals are last-minute airfare specials offered each Tuesday for travel on the upcoming weekend. Most fares are non-refundable and must be purchased immediately, but these specials often represent significant savings over advance purchase fares.
United Airlines — There are dozens of Internet specials this week, mostly to or from their hubs in Houston, Newark, Chicago, Cleveland and Denver. Purchase before 11:59 p.m. (EDT) October 5. Departures after 7 p.m. on October 5 or anytime October 6 and return on Monday, October 8 or Tuesday, October 9. Taxes and airport fees are additional. This week’s fares include:
- Chicago to Winnipeg, Canada – $297
- Cleveland to Washington DC – $161
- Denver to Los Angeles – $271
- Houston to Quito, Ecuador – $440
- Kansas City to San Francisco – $161
- New York City to Orlando – $271
US Airways — There are no US Airways Web deals for this week.
Delta Airlines Web Deals — Purchase Delta Web deals by 11:59 p.m. (EDT) on October 6 for travel departing anytime October 6 and returning on October 8 or October 9. Highlights include:
- Atlanta to Oklahoma City – $240
- Detroit to Minneapolis – $220
- Houston to New York City – $280
- Los Angeles to Tampa – $320
American Airlines NetSaver Fares – There are no NetSaver Fares for this week.
