There’s a visine rebate as well in 3/14 RP. So, you’ll get that price back too. I made $20!
does anyone do these transactions when they might not need everything in these transaction…lol??
I only got the things I needed and still made good money. I really didn’t want things I don’t need to sit around such as the baby products…
I do if the item is free, but if I have to pay even a little for an item that I don’t need, I try to sub in a different item that I do use instead.
Too bad tax eats up about half of the overage…but at least it’s still a MM.
I’m confused about what coupons can be stacked. I understand that a manufacturer coupon can be stacked with a Rite-Aid coupon, but can’t it only be 1? Above it says to use an in-ad coupon and an ad-perks coupon. You can’t use those together can you? For example, on the Johnson’s baby stuff…$1/1 manufacturer, $1/1 ad-perks, and $1/1 in-ad. Can I really use these all together?
I don’t think you can use and Ad-perk and a circular coupon. They are both rite aid coupons, their policy says you can only use two coupons for one item if one is a rite aid coupon and the other is a manufacturers coupon.
It would’nt hurt to try though.
According to Rite Aid’s Coupon Acceptance policy, “Only one coupon is accepted for each product, unless coupled with another manufacturer coupon found in a Rite Aid circular.” In some cases, then, you could actually use 3 coupons for one item–a Rite Aid coupon (like AdPerk, a traditional manufacturer coupon, and then an additional manufacturer coupon from the circular). If you have an Adperk and a circular, you could see if they will treat one as a manufacturer and the other as a store coupon. My store does that for me.
I was at rite aid on sat. and bought 1 box of advil cold & sinus and used the in-ad coupon, ad-perk coupon, and a manufacturer coupon and the girl took all three and I only paid $3.50. The register never beeped or anything.
Thank you so much for posting a scenario on this rebate. I have been anxiously awaiting to do this deal as we use many of the products in the rebate. I can’t wait to get this one together now : )
Aren’t Ad-Perk and circular coupons considered manufacturer coupons? At the top of both of these, it says manufacturer’s coupon. It seems like you could only use 1 coupon on all the items in both transactions because there are not store coupons available. What do you all think?
Ad Perk coupons are Rite Aid store coupons. I Believe some of them say Manufacturer Coupon, but they are actually store coupons. (I have confirmed this with RA employees).
Most coupons in the circular are labeled manufacturer coupons- but you’ll notice they are coded two different ways. Some start with a RA which mean they are store coupon. Others that start with a 9 or 5 are true manufacturer coupons.
Most stores are allowing a Ad Perks coupon and a In Ad Coupon to be used together. However, they have final say since they are store coupon.
Hope this helps!
My store has been denying my using the two coupons saying they say “manufacturer coupon” on the top…there is no reasoning with them that they are still really RA coupons.
In our weekly ad it states right on one of the RA man. coupons (the one for sudafed) that there is a $2/1 man. coupon available in most Sunday papers
I’d show your store that if you have one. Its telling us to use another man. coupon with theirs.
You might want to call 1-800-RITE-AID. I did when they gave me a problem and within 24 hours the regional manager called me back and gave me his personal cell number to call when it happens again and he said he was going to the store to retrain the employees. HAven’t had a problem since and they sent me a copy of their policy. You can def. use a ad perks or store coupon and man. coupon even though the store coupons say man. on them. Not sure about using 3 coupons on 1 item though.
i dont see the visine rebate just a $2 coupon and a $3 coupon.i’m confused.i just dug around my recycle bin for it and didnt see anything
The visine rebate came to Utah in the mail on wednesday or in the newspaper RP yesterday. Here’s my $20 Money Making senario http://somebrightideas.blogspot.com/2010/03/make-2209-at-rite-aid-this-week.html
this is my first time doing this kind of rebate are you sure it doesnt have to be all in one transaction?i am just worried that i am going to enter the receipts and then after a day or so Riteaid.com wont recognize it because the $50 wasn’t spent in one transaction.
It does not have to be in one transaction. Rite Aid often has rebates where you buy a certain $ amount of product and get a rebate. I have done A LOT of them and always bought them in split up transactions. Also- none of the promotional material says it needs to be in one transaction, and I would think that is pretty important information that they would have clearly stated if they wanted purchases done that way. Happy shopping!
I saw on iheartriteaid.com that desitin and johnsons products will be on sale next week 3/21-3/27 for only 2.99 each with in ad coupon. Since this rebate goes until the end of the month it may be better to wait on those two items, less to the overall but maybe more products in the long run
thank you Annaliese!
Most of these items can be submitted for reimbursement if you have a medical savings account at work (or for me through my husband’s work). So you also save money on taxes!!!
