Update – Gillette Body Wash at Walgreens, Only $0.85!

Update:  I’ve been hearing from quite a few of you that Walgreens Corporate has come out and said the ProGlide Razor is not included in the Spend $30.00 and Receive $10.00 Register Reward.  When I went to try the deal at my store, the Gillette deodorant and Body Wash were cleared off the shelves.  I asked a cashier if she had anybody do the deal and the register printed both Register Rewards and she said “yes”.  Here is an updated scenario:

WOW!!! Here are a couple of different scenarios you can do at Walgreens to take advantage of the Gillette Register Reward promotion.  When you spend $30.00 on Gillette products, you will receive a $10.00 Register Reward.  Also this week when you buy 1 Gillette Fusion Razor, you will receive a $5.00 Register Reward.
Check out these KRAZY deals:

Hi. I tried this deal last week and I got the razor as well, but it only printed the $5 reward. The cashier told me it was because I actually had to spend $30 to get the reward. So, being the newbie that I am we re-rung up the items, I spent the $30 and got the $10 rewards…so I haven’t read the other comments here and maybe that happened to someone else..but what you are saying above is that you should be able to get $30 worth of product, use your coupons, pay a lesser amount, and still get your rewards? Thanks.

Is this deal still going on this week?

the razor didnt give me my RR but the manager printed out my RR anyway! also was able to score the pro glide razor smooth comfort pack instead of just the regular razo and the smooth comfort pack was still 9.89

  5. Cosmobag says:

I went and did the original scenario (1 razor, 3 body washes and 2 deodorants) a couple hours ago. I was told when I cashed out and it didn’t print my $10 RR that it had to total $30 even after coupons. Is this true? If not, where can I find it in the coupon policy to point it out.

    • Anonymous says:

I don’t think that is true. They didn’t have it in their ad that way. I think the reason why you didn’t receive the $10.00 RR is because the razor was not included in the deal.

      • abbeyt says:

Ok let me get his straight… all of the confusion was that the razor shouldn’t have been included. Why are so many managers telling people it’s because we’re not spending the $30 (because of the coupons). I was given the same explanation today. For future reference, the coupons are not included in the the total price spent, right? I asked Rite-Aid tonight about their policy after experiencing this with Walgreen’s & she said the total price was before the coupons. Thanks… just want to get this down for next time.

I think the system got messed up…when my store manager rang up way over 30 dollars in Gillette products it wouldn’t spit out the RR. She did a transaction for like 80 with NO COUPONS and it didn’t work. I think when they removed the razor from the reward they must have messed something else up.

I went yesterday and tried it with the razor, body wash, deoderant combo and it didn’t work. They had a printed email from corp telling them about the mistake. I came home and re-did my math and went back today. I got 4 body washes and 4 deoderants. It still didn’t print the reward. The manager rang up like $50 in Gillette product with NO coupons or discounts and it still didn’t print. She tried lots of different products, but it still wouldn’t print. She was super nice and just gave me a $10 refund. So, I got all 8 items for $3.18!!! I wonder if it isn’t printing at other stores because of a computer error and not that the total being considered after the coupons. Maybe the store managers are just assuming that the coupons and the price reductions are causing the issue. Obviously, this store’s system was not going to print the reward no matter what!

  7. MeeshaG says:

Oh so that is the reason why my $10RR did not print today. I was told by the manager that it is because i used to many coupons and after coupons my total is below $30. I think they are not aware of the corporate email or have not read it yet. Thank Krazy Coupon Lady. I knew i will find an answer here.

I’ve updated the post. It sounds like Walgreens made a mistake and had the razor included in the Spend $30.00 Receive $10.00 Register Reward deal at the beginning of the week. They now are not including the razor in this deal. Not as great of a deal as we first thought but still a pretty good deal.

  10. Kaylee C says:

I had the same problem…no $10 RR. I have contacted corporate and complained…my store manger was extremely nice and gave me another $5 RR on the house, but it still didn’t make my deal work like I wanted as I should have had a $5 RR in my pocket when I left. I still got a very good buy, but not incredible. :(

  11. Jglowmu says:

Went to Walgreens today to get in on this deal, and after the first attempt to ring everything up the $10 reward didn’t print. The manager came over and said there has been an ad correction and the ProFusion razor cannot be purchased as part of the $30 total. The initial ad that came out Sunday included the razor, but apparently as of Thursday around 4p.m. the razor cannot be included. Soooo, after 3 tries I was able to get my $10 reward, but after all the frustration and confusion I think my total order was about $20 over my estimate (I had other things to purchase as well). Isn’t there a limit to how long a company has to correct an ad??

I went to walgrrens tonight to get the first Gillette deal seen here…… Well I only got the $5.00 Register rewards not the $10.00 so I asked about it and the cashier called the manager, the manager said I didn’t get the 10.00reward because I used coupons and it brought the price down under the 30.00! UGGGG so frustrated!

  14. Hsks0717 says:

I tried this deal yesterday. I had over $30 before coupons but it went down to $17 afterwards and the $10 RR did not print. I was told by the manager it had to be $30 after coupons. Why does it work for some people and it is not consistent? What a disappointment!

    • bucksaver says:

I did the deal earlier in the week and it worked with coupons, so that is not the problem. I went back today to do the deal again, as I did not want to clear the shelves the first time. The clerk at the beauty counter showed me the email from Walgreens saying that the razor would not be included in the $30 total. But I was very lucky when I tried it anyway and it worked (and I used the BOGO coupons)! The manager tried to tell me the BOGO coupons would not work but the clerk corrected him that it would.d I hate how Walgreens is so inconsistent and they get rude when I try to explain THEIR policy to them.

    • 1masterofcoupons says:

Your manager was wrong. As long as you spend $30 before coupons than it should print.

    • Ali says:

I just wanted to share that I went early in the week and got both the 10 & 5 coupons back buying Gillette items including the razor. When I went back later in the week to the same store and bought the same exact items, I only got the 5 coupon. I suppose that W had the razor in the deal early in the week and then pulled it! Boooo…

  15. Guest says:

I went in yesterday and did this transaction and did not recieve the $10/$30. I asked the cashier and she said that some will not print if you use coupons. I called the 1800 number and she made a case for me. I told her it didn’t say anything about the total after coupons. My prices were a little differernt (actually quite a bit more) but it was still a good price for all of the items if I get the $10/$30. I will get a call in a couple days to see if I will receive it or not. If not I may return all the items!

  16. Linda says:

The single proglide razor is NOT part of the $30 deal, unfortunately. The picture in the ad is actually of a gift set for Father’s day. I tried adding it with my bodywash and it didn’t work :( I was told by W that single razor has its own RR deal and separate from the $30 (participating items only, ex.. b/w, deod..)

  17. Trinalorrainelewis says:

The Gilette body wash/razor deal is no longer working as of this morning. The manager informed me that he received an email from corporate yesterday which instructed them to not allow the razor as part of the $30 purchase. Did anyone else run into this today? They were super nice, though and refunded my entire purchase…we have a GREAT wags in CDA, ID.

Also—found a mail in rebate sticky attached to Renpure organic shampoo & conditioner for up to $6.99…which is the listed price at my wags. I bought 2 conditioners since last week I purchased 2 of the same shampoo at rite aid last week (they were out of conditioner)… so FREE…just had to pay tax and a postage stamp!

  18. Hallnicrs says:

My manger told me that if you use a manf. Coupon it won’t give you the rr because the rr also comes from that company and it’s like double dipping. So I agree it’s double dipping but that’s how you get the good deals. Is this right or how do I get around this is it legit or not I guess I need to look at the coupon policy?????

    • Anonymous says:

This is not correct. You should still get a RR when you use a manufacturer. The only time you would not get a RR is if you paid with the same RR. Does this make sense?

      • Mindy says:

Thats how I understood it but when I called their corp. Office they said the policy is changing on some of their RR programs. I said, ‘so we are to guess which ones will apply’…..his answer, ‘i guess’…..not much help!

  19. Mindy says:

This doesnt work. Went and followed each step and they would only give me the $5 rewards from razor…you had to pay $30 after coupons to get $10 gilette rewards……was bummed out because I was only doing it for the good deal and then I got burned in the end!

  20. J.J. says:

Sunday, I got the 5 bodywash and one Fusion Proglide deal as mentioned above and used all the coupons listed. The $10 and $5 RR printed. Today, I did the deal again and the $10 did not print (at the same Walgreens). I noticed after I got home and called the store. They said the Fusion Proglide razor is not included. It must be the gift pack. What?

    • Sasha says:

It was included on accident before. Ask a beauty adviser for the gillette father’s day gift pack, they probably have it in the back. It includes a full sized shaving cream, body wash, thermal face scrub, and Proglide for only $15.

    • J.J. says:

Another poster, a Walgreen’s employee, stated corporate communicated that the razor is not part of the $30 deal. It’s the $15 Father’s Day gift pack.

Yes…this deal changed today. See my post 3 above yours…

  21. Taterbaby64 says:

Tried to do the gillette deal at my local Walgreens today it printed out the 5.00 RR but not the 10.00 RR the manager was called said that it would not let you use the fusion proglide in both deals.

  22. Sasha says:

I work at Walgreens, we got an email from corporate this morning at 8 saying the Proglide razors were not meant to be part of the Gillette Deal and that they fixed the “problem.” Booo. But the picture in the Gilletre ad is actually not the Proglide razor, as you can see it is a gift bag. All stores should have received them for our 06/18 Saturdate, but I’ve noticed that alot of beauty advisors have been stashing them in the back so they don’t all sell out beforehand. I think they are $14.99 this week, and on sale next week.

  23. Kiyumi_Chu says:

I follow what you say I buy
1 razor and 5 body wash but the rr didn’t print out , and the cashier say $30 before coupon so I pay $ and just get $5.00 rr for the razor only :(

  24. Lauramariekirby says:

I just got back from Wags and did the deal but in my store buying the razor does not count if you want both RR. So I had to end up buying 1 bodywash 3 deotrants and 2 shave creams to get the 10 to print and then the razor to get the 5 to print. Dont think i saved as much as I could have but will keep my stuff!

  25. Greg M says:

    I just bought

    1 razor @ $9.89
    5 body washes @ $4.99 each

    Used:
    $4.00 Razor Q
    $4.99 BOGO Coupon (2)
    $2.00 Coupon

Ended up spending $21.12 and got back $15.00 in RR. Seems high to me, did I do that right?

    • Vbelk says:

I just bought 1 razor and 4 deodorants = $31.85 and only got the $5 reward

    • Mindy says:

I did the same exact thing, except my total was $22+ (must have higher tax here… BLAH!), and I only got a $5 RR. You’re much better off than me!

    • trina says:

That is because your body wash was priced at $4.99 vs the scenario above of $4.49.

  26. WhitneyR says:

I just witnessed a Walgreens employee put 5 Gillette Body Washes onthe shelf that was already completely empty & Put 10 on the very top shelf behind another product like she was hiding them from people! I also saw NO Nivea Body wash on the shelf & 2 un-wrapped packs behind another item! This made me sick .. she was stocking the items and I know she saw the totally empty shelf.. so I went moved the items she stuck in front of the Gillette & Nivea and got the ones that I needed… Walgreens is slowly starting to make me angry

    • matla says:

I think they do that so if anyone call to make a compliant. There excuse will be there store does have them in stocks but maybe the customers r too blind or could not find it themself and did not request for help. Riteaid and CVS got very cheap to free items hidden too. For CVS I believe it maybe the customers may have done this as CVS are great with rain checks and their rain check come with cash register reward included too.

at stater bros old spice body wash on sale 2.99
    buy 2
Use B1G1 Free Gillette Body Wash, up to $4.99, excludes trial size from PG 6/5
Use $2.00/1 Gillette Body Wash, excluding trial size from RP 5/15
    get 2 for .99
i think this is a much better deal
for six you only pay $2.98

  28. Hives9 says:

This didn’t work at my Walgreens–bought 1 razor and 5 body washes and the only reward it printed out was the $5 for the razor–Manager said the total of $30 is without coupons-so by using the 2-B1G1 Free coupons lowered the total price of the items making all the items less than the $30–so no $10 reward. Is this a new policy for Walgreens?????

    • Autumn24 says:

That’s the same thing that my store told me. I’d love to know if this is new or how to go about rectifying the situation, I dont’ want to spend money if I’m not going to get the deal.

      • abbeyt says:

They told me the same thing at our store. I had all the coupons ready but before the girl finished the transaction she told me that I probably wouldn’t get the $10 RR because after coupons it wasn’t $30. I told her to just forget it… if I couldn’t get the $10 RR. After reading everyone’s comments tonight I wish I’d dropped the razor & just tried the bodywash and deo. I wanted to get these for Father’s Day. BUMMER!!!

  29. Gmschnitz says:

      • Iva says:

maybe I’ll just have to try it then, even though my local store told me the razor wouldn’t be included in the sale. It IS pictured in the ad though, so it would seem fair to expect to be able to use it.

      • Autumn24 says:

How can you tell, would I have to ask the manager each time on things like this? I’m just starting out and didn’t get the $10.00 RR today after 1 Razor, 4 BW and 1 Shaving Gel that brought my subtotal to $33.35. Got the $5.00 but not the $10.00

  30. Myra says:

I made this shopping trip yesterday afternoon at my local Wags in Des Plaines, IL. They had plenty of body washes & razors in stock. Though the price for the body washes was $4.99, not $4.49. I was able to use 2 B1G1 Free coupons & 3 $2 off coupons for the body washes & the $4 off razor so my total was $14.86 & I received both register rewards $10 & $5 so everything was free!

  31. Twp125 says:

I went to Walgreens today to try the deals you mention above. They did not have the body wash; they only had a couple deodorants and they did have the razors. I came away just buying one razor; that is all that was available and they would only let me buy one. I did get the $5 RR, however. They not only did not have the body wash, there was so place on the shelf for it; they apparently are not carrying it. They did, however have the “kit” that was pictured in their advertisment for around 1/2 off regular price, but of course, you couldn’t use coupons on that item.

  32. Trissy1313 says:

Is the buy $30 get $10 RR for the Gillette deal a reginal offer? I tried to do this deal and I didn’t get the $10 RR just the $5 for the Razor???

  33. I did this yesterday and had no problem – even got the Razor that came in the little bundle with a free little shaving cream in it. My only questions/concerns were first off I used another coupon for $1.00/1 deodorant so it was 5 coupons total and also my Walgreen’s had them on sale for B1G50% off which made it $2.50 less than what was posted above – I did the one were you buy 1 Razor, 3 BWs and 2 Deos – so my Subtotal before taxes but after coupons was $15.36 and then I received both the $5 and $10 RR making the Final Price $0.06 each wyb 6.

Did KCL forget to add the extra coupon? Because her total is exactly $2.50 more than mine, showing that she did use the 5th one.

  34. Mish says:

This worked for me….It spit out the $10 and $5 dollar Rewards :) TY

  35. Lety says:

If the walgreens add does not show the $10 RR it only shows the $5 for the razor, how do I know my walgreens is runnig that deal?

  36. Justtryingtosave says:

I am still new to this couponing sales and scenarios type of shopping. I have always been just a Walmart shopper.I know that my Walmart regular prices at least a dollar cheaper on these items so with my coupons I feel like I am getting a good deal. Is it the register rewards that are my incentive to shop at Walgreens or the ECB’s at CVS? I did go to Walgreens yesterday and bought the Garnier 4 for $14 and used my Garnier coupons on each item so that helped but I still actually paid about .60 cents more for each of my styling products than I would have if I had gone to Big Lots where I normally get those products. I did get the $4 register rewards so I was happy about that and will use those rewards toward one of your other scenarios. I am really just trying to figure it all out and where I can save the most money. I absolutely love the scenarios you give us, otherwise I am not smart enough to figure it out on my own. I also, have one more question. Last week I used your scenarios for Target and Walmart and found the store shelves wiped clean of the items in your scenarios. I left my house and went as soon as you posted them. Are there other sites that post these scenarios sooner or do you think I am just competing with people who are as smart as you and figure out the deals before you post them. Thanks again for your posts. Since losing my job a few months ago I am really having to cut any unnecessary cost so even hair products and makeup are considered unnecessary to me but with your scenarios I do feel like I am saving enough to make it worth the little bit of money I am able to spend to make myself still feel “pretty” while searching for a job. Your efforts and time are really appreciated. Thank you

    • Anonymous says:

Yes using Register Rewards and ECB are your incentives to shop at these stores.

Yes there are other sites that posts the same deals.

      • Cyndi says:

The $10 rr didn’t work on $30+ of disposable razors. (no coupons used, no register rewards used to pay) Hubby was out of razors so we tried. So we went to Costco (he’s brand & type loyal) they were cheaper at Costco than they would have been even if the $10 would have printed. I need to keep track of prices so I know when it’s a good deal.

        • cristywisty says:

          Cyndi,
I also compared Costco, however at 16 blades for $42 they are no way cheaper! If you purchase the Finesse Shampoo that is currently on sale 2/7 it has a $5 register reward and little peelies to get it for free. Use that register reward to buy the razor + use $4 coupon from last sundays paper plus a filler item (sobee) and you will pay about $1.38 out of pocket and you will get another $5 register reward + $1 register reward for sobee. Keep doing this over and over and you will be MUCH cheaper for both shampoo and razors than you would be if you shopped at Costco! I bought 12 bottles of Finesse shampoo, 4 razors, 2 sobees, and 8 candy bars for $8.38 out of pocket and I have $12 in register rewards to spend on other items later in the week!

  37. SteveUML3737 says:

I got a great deal. I bought one fusion proglide (and it was a bonus pack with a small shaving cream and gel and it still cost 9.89 befoe coupons). I also got 4 body washes at 4.99 and then a small shaving cream for 1.79, making it about $32. I used 2 buy 1 get 1 frees for the body wash, the 4.00 proglide coupon and I checked out. Originally they gave me just $5.00 for the razor so the manager had to be called and I ended up getting the $10 for the $30 and also an additional $5 RR so I made money off this deal!
Most of my favorite body wash was gone so I had to buy the other gillette body washes but I still use them. I go through about 1 a week!

  38. Evacoupon5687 says:

I tried to do the first scenario (1 razor and 5 body wash) and my RR didn’t print! The manager said that because I used the bogo coupons, it brought my total down below $30… :(

  39. Lizzyb03 says:

My Walgreens told me that the Gillette Fusion razor was not part of the $10 back from $30 purchase because it had it’s own RR. So maybe you would only get one or the other. I didn’t do it because I didn’t want to chance it and have things messed up with the RR and coupons I was using and not being able to get them all back.

    • Alicia says:

When I didn’t get the $5 and $10 from my first transaction, the manager rang up 4 of the razors on a “pretend” transaction – both RRs printed out. Maybe have them try this?

    • Matla says:

The trainee cashier told me that too and pointed me that it no show the razor on their advertisment except for the bundle pack and she asked another employee and she agree with the trainee that is not part of the $10 back deal from $30. She suggested me to buy 2 more body washs since i only got $5. So it ok with me, it was there delay delivery stocks day since monday was a hoilday and it also the last day of there Saturday Sales and I am glad that they have not limit me like those other times but encourage me to buy more and invite me to come on Saturday too since they really not liking me to come there often. Well i was going to buy that razor anyway i was also happy to finally got one free and it delivered to my home yesterday even when it was the plain regular one with no battery. Reading about most of u not getting the $5 or $10 RR back really shock me. I thought maybe it happened to me too since i really no check if they print them out or not. I buy too much things there and few transactions too so i usually rely on the cashier if it print it out or not. I usually lack of sleep since i not a good coupon organizer and love the night more than day so my brain in the morning is more toward the sleeping.

So i paid all together the (1) razor with $4 off, and (3) buy one get one free body wash and (1) $2 off one body wash. I think it print both the $5 and $10 since i told the trainee i want $15 RR back. Sometime items on sale but the store no put sale price sign on them so i got to asked the cashier if those items on sale since it not posted on the shell like there body deodorants which i no care much for since i got enough of deodorants at home waiting to be expire. I think Walgreens store should at least have one scanner price check stand for customers.

ok so if I get 1 Proglide ($4/1) 2 Body Wash (1 BOGO & $2/1) 2 Deodorant ( 1 BOGO & $1/1) and 1 Shave Gel ($1/1) this will be $34.35 before coupons and $17.87 afterwards? Is this correct? Is there a better way to work it? I have only 1 of the $2/1 bodywashes and 1 of the BOGO deodorant left, but I have plenty BOGO body washes and $1/1 deodorants and shave gels.

    • Alicia says:

I’d do this scenario (my store’s prices might be a little different than yours, though)
      1 proglide $9.89, use $4/1
      4 body washes $19.96, use 2 BOGO and 1 $2/1
      1 shave gel $1.99 – $1

      Total = 14.86, get $15 RR

      Hope this helps!

      • Tkrynn says:

You don’t have to buy 5 bodywashes to do that? Saw online that my store is out of deodorants. I have to rethink this once again.

  41. Amy says:

I bought a razor, and 4 deo. and then used the $4 razor coupon, and 2 BOGO deo and then two of the $1 off deo coupons, cost around 13 and I got 15 RR back :)

  42. Carmenhuertosmartinez says:

my wagreens doesn’t have this adverticed would it still work for me , the add os different zip 97013, no PG deal?

  43. Jess says:

I bought 1 Fusion Razor ($9.89), 4 Deodorants ($4.99ea) and a shave gel ($3.99). I used these coupons: $4 for Fusion Razor, (2) B1G1 Deodorant, (2) $1/1 deodorant and a $1/1 shave gel. I got my $10 RR for being over $30 and my $5 RR for the Razor.

    • Amcastagliola says:

Funny I did te very same thing today…a few tmes…but even better was the razor i found at rite aid for 9.89….ok so you only got 4 bucks back but this was in a nice case and included an extra blade a mini shave gel and extras….a great deal…but walgreens was the best getting back 15 and only spending 17 is incredible….now if they can get the ladies a razor deal I would be happier!!

  44. Mommy2 says:

I did the scenario, but added one more bodywash. Then added an extra B1G1 body wash Q, and a B1G1 deoadarnt wyb a body wash. Paid less than $15 ang got back $15 RR

  45. Sue says:

Did this today as well, but had to buy the razor and then all deodorants. My WG was out of bodywash and the clerk said they were phasing them out (which explains the shortage). Had to think on the fly, but both the RR printed. The ladies couponing in front of me were a tad grumpy so I was extra sweet to my cashier. I think she needed a smile :)

  46. cool coupon dude says:

    I did this twice today

    6 body wash $26.94 (4.49 x 6)
    1 shaving cream $ 3.50
    1 sobe water $ .99

    used 3 bogo ,3 $2 off,$1 off and a 10 reward

    paid $ .96 + tax total $3.17
received $10 reward and $.99 reward total paid $2.18

  47. Laura says:

I did the deal and got both the $5 RR for the Razor, and $10 RR for the bodywash…only difference was that our bodywash goes $4.99 at my Walgreens. You must remember also, not to use any Gillette RR from previous transactions on this deal, or it won’t work.

  48. Amnam says:

For scenario #2 , you can add one more $2.00/1 for body wash since you have 3 items and one more $1.00/1 for the deodorant which will bring your pay to $14.98 and makes the deal a $.02 money maker .

  49. Amnam says:

  50. Debbie Abold says:

    Here is a great scenario.

    Use 2 BoGo bodywash Q’s
    + use 2 2/1 bodywash Q’s
Use 1 BoGo deodorant Q (must buy 5.49 deo or else you will be under 30$)
    + use 1 1/1 deodorant Q

    Pay 10.47 + tax, receive 10RR.

I just did it today & the cashier was very impressed!

  52. Kelly p says:

For the first senario, with the 5 bodywashes could we use 3 of the $2/1, or does the Bogo coupon attach to both items?

  53. Hannahsweeney08 says:

Went to 3 Walgreens. All were out of the razor, bodywash and deodorant. Hopefully they will get some more this week!!!

  54. carrielynn12 says:

Has this deal worked for anyone???

    • carrielynn12 says:

Based on the picture in the ad, it would appear that the ProGlide razor is part of the $30 deal; however, I can’t really see WG allowing you to “double-dip” by allowing you to get RR for the razor AND spending the $30…

    • Walgreenwoman says:

I was ringing up orders all day and it worked just fine.

      • Anonymous says:

I was told before I checked out that they stopped printing the RR if you were going to be using coupons. Ended up not purchasing the items.

      • Camille says:

The manager at the Walgreens I went to insisted the double dip will not work. To the point that they won’t ring up all my Gillette products in one transaction! Why aren’t you the one who works at our store? You know your stuff! :(

      • Emilia5338 says:

I just did the deal as well. I had two different transactions with the razor and over $30 worth of Gillette before coupons. I asked the cashier about the RR for the $10 because only the $5 printed. She called the manager who made it print. She said their machines were having problems printing both rewards off of the same items. However since the add shows the razor as part of the deal they grant it.

      • Emilia5338 says:

  55. Ackerlisalou says:

question.. how does that work if you havent spent 30.00? I mean you would only pay 17 something for all of it??

    • Brandy says:

I think it is based on price before coupons…

      • Dianaabolt says:

I went Sunday price was 32.00 before coupons after 20.00. cashier told me i had to spend 10 more dollars to get reward for 10. wasnt worth it. i kept the items but i normally wouldnt of paid that much.

        • Lizzyb03 says:

That’s not true! Your $30 should be your total before coupons. Wags employees don’t know what they are talking about half the time so don’t listen to what they say most of the time.

  56. Renee says:

Good luck finding the deal at Wags. I went to two separate ones in my town and the shelves were EMPTY :-(

  57. Ktivadar says:

question…the first scenario totals 32.34 BEFORE coupons. i’m wondering if you will still get the $10 RR because your total will be way less than $30 after coupons. Are the RR issued based on the before coupon price? thanks for any info you have on that.

  58. Pookwashere says:

I checked my Gillette body wash BOGO coupon and it has a 14 in the bar code, which I thought indicated that it attaches to both items. Can you use this manufacturer’s BOGO coupon with another manufacturer coupon?

  59. Judy says:

When I did this I didn’t get the $5 RR for the Fusion Razor. And didn’t notice until I had left the store–so I ended up paying over $1.50 per item. Bummer.

    • Kristineshear says:

So, I’m in the same boat as you. Are you going to keep? or return? I’ve never returned and I’m sure it’ll be a hassle, but I know those items will be a LOT cheaper another time.

    • Kristineshear says:

So, I’m in the same boat as you. Are you going to keep? or return? I’ve never returned and I’m sure it’ll be a hassle, but I know those items will be a LOT cheaper another time.

    • smartwater says:

      Judy
Did you pay with a $5 RR from a previous Gillette Fusion Razor purchase?

    • Walgreenwoman says:

If you return the items; make sure you take all of the items back; including the register rewards you received. Then the transaction should be rerung and you will get the rewards back. I had three transactions today and all of them printed the $10 and the $5. Don’t know why it didn’t happen.

      • Kristineshear says:

        Walgreenwoman –
So glad you are on here:) If I am going to return the Gillette and have it rerung, do I need to bring everything I purchased or just the Gillette items? Just not sure how they are going to figure it all out with the coupons and RRs. Thanks so much!

  60. Suzanne says:

I just did the second transaction with 1 razor, 3 bodywashes, and 2 deodorants. Worked Great, I actually got a better deal because deodorant rang up b1 get 1 %50 off. oop $16.63 received $10 RR and $5 RR

  61. Christy says:

Just an FYI on the Fusion razors–my store had the gift pack (the one that had the Fusion power razor with little shave cream and battery as well as the razor and cartridge), it showed $13.49 on the shelf, so I took it (and a razor-only package, just in case) to the register. I had the cashier price check it and sure enough, it rang up $9.89. Since it was the sale price, I took a chance and it DID give me the $5 RR.

If your store has any of those gift packs left, you might score a little extra freebie and it’s nicely gift-able for Father’s Day too :D

  62. AmandaJ says:

Does anyone know if the deodorant deal is just on stick? Or can I also use the coupons on the spray or roll-on variety?

My husband is very picky about his deodorants! ;)

  63. Mary says:

Cant you use 3/B1G1 free of the body wash & use 3/$2.00 off coupons on top of that? You still have the same number of items as the product & spend less. If my calculations are right…buying 5 body washes you are paying an out of pocket of $12.97 but if my scenerio works, you are only paying an out of pocket of $8.97.

  64. terra says:

if I am doing the second deal how many BOGO coupons do I need if I am getting 3 body wash? New to this and very confused! I want to take advantage of this deal just not sure what coupons I need.

  65. I would call corporate and ask them if you should have received both RR. I am going to do this deal later today and I will let you if I get both.

  66. Julie says:

Should I go back to tht store?? Unsure if I should go back or just let it go.

    Here’s what happened:
    1 razor = 9.89
    1 deoderant = 5.49
    3 body wash = 4.99
    Used $4/1 razor MQ
Used (1) B1 deoderant G1 body wash free
    Used (1) B1G1 body wash
    Total = $30.35

I only received $10 RR. While in the “real world” this is still a pretty good deal. It bugs me that I didn’t get the $5 RR for the razor as well. Should I go back in inquire, return, or keep? Does it state on the receipt what RRs I received?

    Thanks so much,
    Julie

  67. Ali says:

Courtney, I have enough q’s to givr your scenario a try. I think I’ll wait until Friday when they restock.

  68. Courtney says:

I was able to combine the B1G1 Deodorant deal with the $1.00/$2.00 off coupon at my local WAGS in Puyallup. Here is what I bought:

    1 Gillette Razor ($4 coupon)$9.89
    4 Body Wash’s (B1G1, $2 coupon)$4.99
    4 Deodorant (B1G1, $1 coupon)$4.49

Total before coupons $47.81 – after coupons total was $18.85. Received $10 RR and $5 RR ($.09 per item)

  69. Ali says:

Hmmmm……..I don’t see in their coupon policy where it has to be a certain amount after coupons. I’ll keep digging around.

  70. Ali says:

Alicia, that’s awesome! It def depends on the cashier and the manager. My Wags has a great cashier (she’s a major couponer!) and a great manager. I love it!! I’ll have to give this deal a try!

  71. Jo says:

I’m confused. I called the Walgreens in my area and they said if I used all those coupons toward the purchase of the Gilette products, the register rewards would not print. They told me that because after the coupons, the total would be under $30 and not qualify.

  72. Alicia says:

    Here’s what I did yesterday:

    -Buy 1 razor, 9.89 – used $4 off from PG 6/5
-Buy 4 Body washes 4.99 – Used 2 B1G1 from PG 6/5 and 2 $2/1 from Charmin (?) Booklets (it didn’t beep for these – let me use both)
-Buy 1 shave gel 1.99 – used $1/1 from PG 6/5 (instead of buying another body wash – I’ve already got enough! But if you need the body washes, I’d recommend buying 6 instead of 5 and using another B1G1 coupon if you have it)

    Total = 31.84 before coupons, 12.86 after coupons, received $4 RR = $2.14 money-maker after RR!

Originally, it only printed the $5 RR for the razor. The cashier said it might be because after-coupon total was below $30. The manager said the same thing, but then he did a “pretend” transaction and scanned 4 razors, which printed out both rewards. He kept the extra $5 and gave me the $10 RR.

I think it all depends on getting the right cashier when the RRs don’t print, though.

    • Alicia says:

Forgot to mention – I did have to throw in a few filler items because of the amount of coupons I used and the RR I had to redeem. Just picked up a few $0.51 fingernail clippers, since they always seem to disappear around the house!

    • Alicia says:

Let’s try this one more time:

      Total = 31.84 before coupons, 12.86 after coupons, received $15 RR = $2.14 money-maker after RR!

    • Sara S says:

You didn’t get the $10 RR because the $1.99 shave gel doesn’t count for this promotion. You would have had to get the orange can that is on sale for 2/$7. Without that, your total was below $30 so you didn’t get the RR.

  73. kelli says:

Does this have to be done in one transaction? I didn’t buy quite enough, if I buy another with the same card, will I get the $10 RR then?

    • Amanda says:

Yes, unfortunately the downfall of Walgreens is that it does not have a “membership card” like CVS that tracks your purchases. To qualify for register rewards, you have to buy the required products in one transaction.

  74. Nicole says:

I plan on buying the razor and the 5 body washes and have the exact same coupons as in the first scenario… So, I will be buying 6 items and have 4 MQs. I also have a $10RR (from the fish oil) and a $2 RR (from BIC). I want to use my 2 RRs as part of this transaction, but I was wondering if since the 2 Gilette B1G1 Qs are each “attached” to 2 items, does each one “count” as 2 coupons? If this is the case, I would need to find 2 fillers to be able to use my RRs. Hopefully my question make sense! :) Let me know what you guys think!

    • TheKrazy_CouponLady says:

I’m not sure on that. Have them ring everything up and the computer will let you knoe if you need a filler.

  75. Katie says:

I tried this and it did not work. The manager said that the bogo coupons do not allow you to qualify for the spend $30 and get $10 RR. I found out after my purchase when the RR didn’t print. Is this ALL Walgreens or just mine? I assumed if the register didn’t print that it wouldn’t do it anywhere.

  76. Emilie says:

Does anyone know if you can use RR towards the cost of prescriptions?

  77. Kelly says:

    I didn’t have the best coupons, but I did…

    1 Razor ($4 coupon)
4 Body Washes (B1G1, $2 coupon, $1 RR from last week)
    1 Deodorant ($1 coupon)

    $20.35 OOP
    Got back $15 in RR

Plus the razor I bought was part of a kit that included free travel sizes of Body Wash, Lotion and Face Scrub!

  78. Terri says:

You can hit your print screen button and then paste that into a word document- it’ll be like a picture…

But you can’t then move the info around to be organized the way you need to see it, a table would be good… item on the left q u plan to use on the right then a little check box so you can mark it off.

OCD much? LOL I am going to try this later today, if I can get my hubby to let me leave him home alone again tonight.

  79. Heather ~ The problem is not that you used coupons. The total for 1 razor, 2 body washes and 2 deodorants is only $27.85 before the coupons (assuming the body wash and deodorant is $4.49, it’s still only $29.85 if the body wash and deodorant is $4.99 as is the case at my store). You need to buy 5 body washes or add something else to make it $30 or more.

  80. Sarah says:

Here is what I’m planning, can anyone tell me if it will work?

    Buy 1 Gillette razor 9.89
    Use 1 4.00 off Q

    Buy 6 Gillette bodywash
    Use 3 B1G1 Q’s
    Use 2 2.00 off 1 Q’s

Get 10 RR and get 5 RR

    Thanks!

    • TheKrazy_CouponLady says:

No this will not work because the B1G1 coupons for Bodywash and the Deodorant are coded to attach to both products. So in this case you would not be able to use another coupon.

      • amanda says:

If you have the coupons from a few weeks back on the BOGO bodywash, you can use the $2 off. Its the Buy one bodywash and get one deoderant that is coded for both items. We did this deal at RiteAid. 8 Gilette bodywash, 1 old spice bodywash, and one one spice deoderant. Paid 9.50 oop and got the 10 up reward.

  81. karnisha says:

Is there any way to copy these deals posted, or print them out directly from this site? Instead of me writing everything down manually, because when I copy and paste into a word doc, it comes out weird.

    • TheKrazy_CouponLady says:

Unfortunately no, but you can copy and paste it into a notepad document. This will keep the format.

      • karnisha says:

I have a MacBook, so I don’t have “note pad” is there any other way I can keep the format?

    • Stachia says:

Yes, highlight the selected text that you want to print. Then click on FILE then PRINT. When the print que box pops up under PAGE RANGE choose SELECTION. And it just prints off the text you highlighted.

  82. Brianna says:

Hmmm, it worked for me yesterday. Based on my stores pricing, here’s what I bought. But be careful because some of the Gillette deodorants are ringing up buy one get one 50% off. So if you get those, take that pricing into account. I bought two different ones and one of them qualified for the BOGO sale and the other did not so it didn’t affect me getting to the $30 mark.

    1-Gillette Fusion razor $9.89; used $4q
    2-Gillette bodywash $4.99ea.; used BOGO & $2q
    2-Gillette deodorant $5.49ea.; used BOGO & $1q

so I paid $13.37 and got $15 back.

no beeps, everything went thru fine and got both the $10 and $5 RR back!

    • Amanda says:

do you give the bogo coupon first or the $ off?

    • Roshanda says:

I did the same thing yesterday and it worked for me too. For some reason my OOP was only $10 and some change and I got back $15 RR. I was able to get (2)Comet, (2) Colgate toothpastes, (1)Soft Soap body wash, (2)Value pack of Reach toothbrushes(3 for the price of 2), M&M’s (filler), (2)Veet wax strips, (2) Nivea men’s facial wash all using the $15RR and I left with $7RR!! I don’t know how I did it. My biggest haul ever.

  83. Tanya says:

Heather- if you got 1 razor @ 9.89
    2 body washes at 4.49 8.98
    2 deodorants at 4.99 9.98
    your total would be 28.85
that would be why the reward didnt print out :(

  84. Gillette body wash is on sale for $3.99 at CVS this week, so you can get it for $2 using the $2/1 coupon or B1G1. Not $.39 but still a good deal, and you only have to buy one or two.

  85. Pam says:

    Heather, Janet,
I bet the same thing happened to you that happened to me the first time I tried it. The deodorants and body wash are on sale for $4.99 so the total comes out to $29.85…just few cents short of the $30!! Just do exactly the same deal as described above or add a shaving gel for $3.50 and use a $1/1 coupon. Then it should work!

  86. Steph says:

I was curious if the $30 is before or after you use your coupons?

    • TheKrazy_CouponLady says:

It should be before coupons but some readers are reporting that their store is requiring after coupons.

    • Paiges_coupons says:

its for after in my store, but thanksfully the lady who checked my out is a coupon lady too so she was really nice about it . we scanned everything and i gave her my money and when they didnt print out she was just as upset as i was!!!

  87. Melissa says:

I tried this yesterday and it didn’t work… the manager was very helpful and even rerung the transaction -I only received $5RR — we concluded that it wouldn’t let you get both???

  88. Chrystal says:

I tried to use the razor as part of my $30 and it did not count. It only printed out the $5 rr for the razor. We had to return the rest of the stuff and then buy $30 of additional products inorder to get the $10 rr to print out.

    • Lunabee says:

I had the same issue. It wouldn’t let you receive two RR’s. I split my purchases into two transactions. 1 for the razor, the other for my 5 body washes and 1 face cream. It was around .60 something so still a good deal.

  89. Becca says:

I got the Gillete Razor deal $5 RR a couple weeks ago, I noticed this reward has been in the Walgreens ad for a few weeks, can I get the reward again if it is in a new ad?

    • TheKrazy_CouponLady says:

      Yes!

      • Rchmidt730 says:

I tried this yesterday and the lady told me I could not get that reward more than once, also they told me there was no $10 RR for every $30 spent. ???? I had no idea where to look to prove it to her. There was not a tag on the shelf either.

      • Rchmidt730 says:

I tried this yesterday and the lady told me I could not get that reward more than once, also they told me there was no $10 RR for every $30 spent. ???? I had no idea where to look to prove it to her. There was not a tag on the shelf either.

    • Ashley says:

Yes you can. You can get a razor every day if you wanted. There aren’t any limits. You just have to have different transactions. Just don’t use the RR you get to purchase the next one until 24 hrs after that purchase. Otherwise it does’t print you another RR.

      • Mb says:

You cannot use the 5.00 RR that you receive at all on the next transaction if you are trying to get another RR from the razor (I tried yesterday and my RR was from last week)

      • Katy says:

at my Wags you cannot use the same type of product RR. For example, if I use the P&G RR from a razor I got last week, it will not print a new RR. It doesn’t matter if I wait an hour or a week, it won’t print a new one. This takes very careful planning and most time two transactions. Our WAGS also limits it to one per person no matter how many transactions and they even started posting little notes on the products. The closest WAGS is about 20 min away, but the benefit is that there are 3. So both my husband and I hit all three a few times a week….All I am saying is just be careful whether or not you can use the same RR on the same product, I tend to flip mine with a totally different brand.

  90. Heather says:

I tried this yesterday buying 1 razor, 2 body washes and 2 deodorants and the asst manager said I couldnt do it using the coupons because then the price was only like $15 not 30. I ended up returning all of it when the reward didnt print out.

    • Janet says:

Heather, the same thing happened to me. Manager said it had to equal $30 after coupons. I have never had that problem before and I had other RRs print but not for this deal. I’ll be returning mine as well, just disappointed I didn’t do it right then and get my coupons back.

      • Heather says:

This manager was really rude. I actually sent an email to corporate this morning. He kept giving me dirty looks the minute he saw me with my binder. Then I asked him where something was and he didn’t even look at me, started walking away and told me it was on the shelf behind him. So I stood there looking for it and he never helped me. I found it myself. Then I had the issue with the Gillette stuff and he had an attitude and told me I had $30 before the coupons but not after. I was so irritated. I did get my coupons back too.

    • I tried to buy 1 razor and 5 body washes (with the BOGO coupons) and the RR didn’t print. I still don’t understand why.

There is also a super great deal on bodywashes at Rite Aid. They are on sale 2 for $7.00, and when you spend $30.00 you get back 10.00 in +up rewards. I’ll be using 4 of the B1G1 coupons from the sunday paper (equals to 28 dollars), and 1 2.00 off Gillette bodywash coupon. Combined with my 3 dollar off survey coupon, the total will be 12.50, but if you combine (which I certainly will!) the (2) 1.00 off non-Rx coupons from the rite aid website, plus any previous +up rewards, it makes for a pretty great deal! I’ll be spending 5.50 OOP and getting $10 +up!

Sharon, I did a similar deal just this morning. I used (4) BOGO gillette deo qs, (4) $1 gillette deo qs from P&G insert, (1) $2 off q for gillette bodywash, and (1) BOGO gillette bodywash. I am not eligible for the $3/$15 q right now. So, I didn’t have that to use. Paid $11.50 opp and got $10 up reward. Items end up costing $.15 each.

in the first one. could i instead get 1 razor and 6 body washes. Use (1) 4/1 razor (3) bogo body wash and (3) 2/1 body washes. Can you use a coupon on the free item from a bogo coupon?

    • TheKrazy_CouponLady says:

The B1G1 coupons for Bodywash and the Deodorant are coded to attach to both products. So in this case you would not be able to use another coupon.

In my area, the body wash was already sold out at several walgreen’s yesterday. I’m hoping there will be another sale on gillette before the coupons expire.

      christina-
the walgreens in our area sells out very quickly too but if you ask the store they will restock in the middle of the week and that will give you a second chance to get in there and get those deals.
Also my Wags wont let you use a RR on the same item that the RR was for. You have to be careful. I have forgotten that a couple of times now and it really messes up your deals

Could you buy 2 razors and two deodorants to get to $30? Just wondering as I don’t really need all those bodywashes!

    • TheKrazy_CouponLady says:

That would put you at $29.76 and wouldn’t qualify for the Register Reward.

    • Scott Harpold says:

You can only get one $5 register reward per transaction. If you bought two razors, you would not get $5 back for each one
