I went today a used my 2 BOGO coupons along with 2 $2 off manu and 2 $2 off/2 Target q’s. I paid a little over $5 wilth tax for 2 starters and 2 refills. Everything scanned with no problems. I have never had a problem at Target stacking BOGO’s with cents off q’s.

This is the wrong coupon! The coupon is not for the clips. Please do not commit coupon misuse! If you look up Off area repellents this is not in that category its in the personal repellent.

I’m wondering if I didn’t get a SS in the 5/22 paper. I have a RP and a SS, but there isn’t a coupon for any Off products in my 5/22 SS. Were there 2 SS’s that week?

The coupons that I have for “AREA Insect repellents” do not include the clip on fans, so I think it will beep on the Target Q, but I’m not sure. I didn’t bother since I didn’t want to use it for what it wasn’t really intended for.

Could you use a b 1 clip get 1 clip free coupon and also use 2 of the buy a clip get a refill free coupons at the same time to purchase 2 clips and 2 refills?

    Worked perfectly for me!

    • Bcheat says:

These do NOT work. I bought one last summer and was wearing it. A mosquito landed on the devise and it didn’t even bother it! Don’t waste your money. I did use the stretch wrist band one year and it works great.

I did a similar deal at walgreens this week, ended up paying only .75 each :)

I used my BOGO Q at CVS because they have $2 ECB on each one (limit 2)
      I also used the $2/1 Q
      9.89 – $2 Q= 7.89 and 4 ECB= 3.89 for 2

Some guy set down near us at a local festival this past weekend with one of these things on, it attracted bugs rather than got rid of them. We had to get up and move.

Wouldnt it be 4.49 not 3.49?

  19. Debbie Abold says:

I tried to use the OFF! Target Q today, pretty much they will only allow it on candles.. or at least the cashier I got said that. I will probably try somewhere else. But not sure if others are going to run into that same issue as well. Why are so many cashiers stuck on the photo and not the words on the Q?!

    • I Hike Everywhere says:

I would have argued with the cashier about this because the picture on the coupon is a candle but the written words on the coupon say “ANY” insect repellant. I did this deal at the target where I live and it worked great. But I usually walk into the Target with so many coupons the cashiers don’t argue with me about a whole lot once we get thru the first few arguments. haha They just process the coupons. Today, I accidently gave the $10.00 off of a bathroom item and she was going to override and give me the coupon and I did not even have the bathroom item. I stopped her before she did it, but wow. Once you get reputation at the Target, they start listening to you.

    • You got pushback because the coupon is for an “Area Insect Repellent”. These Clip-ons are “Personal Insect Repellents”. The Area Insect Repellents are listed on their website, but include things like citronela candles, mosquito coils, some lamp thing, etc.

    • Danarodriguez says:

SS is Smart Source. One of the coupon publishers. You will get SmartSource, Red Plum (RP). Take a look at the list of short cut names. It’ll help when reading this website! Good luck!

  25. Jane says:

Just make sure the refill is under $6.00 or you’ll have to pay the difference:)

  26. Jane says:

According to the new policy how does this deal work?? The get free repellent refill wyb Off Clip on is considered a BOGO free coupon therefore I don’t think you can use the $2.00/1 starter kit coupon with it. If I’m wrong please explain because I’d like to get these LOL!!

  27. Natasha says:

They work if you don’t move around, you have to sit in one place. But you also have to be careful because you are not suppose to use it close to children’s face but if you hook it onto your belt loop then it is at their face level.
As for the coupons, you can use a target cents off coupon with a mq BOGO coupon or visa versa. You just can’t use a mq BOGO and a cents off coupon on one item and a target BOGO coupon and a cents off target coupon on the same item. (at least this is how I read the new policy)

    • Jane says:

I believe you are right….You can only use the BOGO free coupons and the Target coupons…no other coupons can be used according to their new policy. The Buy Starter Kit get Free Refill is considered a BOGO free coupon :)

    • Molly says:

We used the clip on last summer, and really loved it. At a baseball game, we clipped it to the diaper bag and set it under our chairs. There was no odor and folks around us were commenting on how great it was not to have bugs! We explained we had the Off! clip-on thing running, and then I had to go into a demo when the women around us got curious.

  28. CouponFroggy says:

I’m wondering the same thing as one of the previous commenter, do these actually work? They’re pretty expensive.

Also, since we would buy 2 starter kits, can we use (2) $2/1 Off! Clip on Mosquito Repellent Starter coupons from SS 5/22? This would bring down the cost to $2.75 each. Or am I confused here?

    • Sheila says:

per the new target coupon policy, you can’t use a mfr $ off Q for the item you “buy” with a mfr BOGO Q. that’s why the KCLs used the Target $ off Q for the ones that we “buy” with the mfr BOGO Q.

      • Casey R/Antelope, CA says:

Yeah but it also states that they used a $2 Manf. Q. So I don’t understand how that works if you are also using a BOGO Manf. Q. That is what target just changed in there policy that states you can’t do that anymore.

  29. Candy says:

But with Target’s new policy, you can’t combine a cents-off with a bogo…how is this possible?

  30. Kimeitel07 says:

Does anybody know if these actually work, or are they too good to be true?? I’ve never tried them before.

Consumer Reports gave it a thumbs down. I tried to post a link to their video, but it has to be approved first. Just google the product name + consumer reports.

It was explained to me that they gradually give off repellent into the air around you, so they work better for adults sitting in lawn chairs than for kids running around. But I have never tried them, either.

We’ve been using these at our lake property for over a year. We turn it on at bedtime and off when we wake up and they have worked fabulously. No bites during the night!

    • Carmen Lopez says:

these do not work for me at all

    • Tammyv67 says:

yes they do. they work best if you are in one place instead of walking around much. we use ours on our patio set. we either hang it from the umbrella or just set it on the table top. after a few minutes the mosquitos disappear.

If i have a BOGOne free MQ, can i use it for this deal? How? I missed the wags special wks ago when they wer coming out to $1.99! But not sure cuz of new policy, please help :)

  32. Kaye says:

Can you use the $2/2 insect repellent or $.75/1 for the repellent refill, since it is technically an insect repellent?
