    FYI
look for these in the doggie dental care isle not in the same place as the nylabone chew toys and stuff. at my store they were tucked on the bottom shelf in a box. easy to miss. i got 7 of them and used the overage toward hamster food(ugh)

    • Lisa says:

Thank You so much for the dental isle trick….they were regular price for $1.79 but I used the overage on a couple of bags of nylabone dental chews on sale for $4.17 and the cashier allowed the overage to be applied so I just had to pay tax!!!! My doggie was thrilled and so was her mom :-)

I tried this deal at one of the petsmarts in my area. One went great…..let me use my overage on dog food. then i went to the one across town. they wouldn’t take my coupon or adjust it down, even after i told them they did it at the other store. SAD!

  6. Deni says:

I did this deal at 2 different PetSmarts in my area. We have the singles on clearance for 77 cents. In one PetSmart they had a tearpad for 2 free 6oz cans of Authority cat food when you buy any Authority dry cat food. They had 2 bags of the Authority cat food marked at 50% off so I picked up those 2 to take up my overage. I ended up with 9 nylabones, 2 bags of cat food, 4 cans of cat food and a cat toy for $1.67. The first 2 times I used this coupon I had no problem, but the third time they tried to say that the overage can only be applied to another Nylabone product. They were nice about it, but I told them that I wasn’t going to make my purchases at this time and I’d go home and check with corporate. Then suddenly the manager changed her mind and said, “OK, I’ll let you use them this time.”

Anybody tried to PriceMatch at Walmart yet? I am wondering if they have them in the first place but also how do we pricematch without it being in the ad. If this is a regular price at Petsmart then it probably isn’t in their ad. Or maybe Walmarts regular price is less than the $2 on the coup? Anyone tried this yet? My Petsmart is really too far for me to drive with the high chance there wont be any left or management to tell me no.

    • Tracy says:

I think you can only price match at Walmart with a competitors ad. That is the way they have proof of the other stores price.

      • Butterhead16 says:

Thanks Tracy, that what I figure too. I guess I was just hoping someone had successfully done it and could give us some pointers. My PetSmart is like 35 minutes drive and so it is too far for it to be so “iffy” Seems like hit or miss from most of the comments.

      • phillandlesley says:

actually, walmarts published price match policy states that it isn’t necessary to have the competitor’s ad with you in order to price match.

  9. Nbm1907 says:

its ridculous petsmart in pasadena wouldn’t adjust the coupon or let me use the overage on anything they said it has to be nylabone only and then they only let me use one coupon for 5 of them and pay it out of pocket.

Probably my most favorite deal ever! The singles were on clearance for $.77 and had 10 coupons so had $12.30 in overage, got a dog collar and leash and paid $.02. I have two dogs so this was appreciated. Thank you so much!

I went to Petsmart today, and all of the bones were on clearance and they were sold out.

I went to Walmart got what I thought was going to be a good deal until I got to the register and they wouldn’t accept the coupon. They said it was fake. I tried to argue that I pulled it right off of the nylabone website, but they didn’t care.

There is also a $1.50 off coupon in the past two month’s of All You magazine.

  18. Tessa says:

I used mine at PETCO today and I had a super fantastic deal. I found Nylabones in the shelves at the check out counter and they were on sale for $1 each. I asked the cashier (and he was very nice) if they do overage and he said he wasnt sure but we can try it out, so we did and I got $1 overage for each. I had 10 coupons so I had $10 overage to use to my other item that I originally was there for in the first place which is the reusable diaper. and that was $29 so ended up paying $19 for the diaper and had all 10 nylabones for free! Awesome deal! Thanks KCL!

  19. Anonymous says:

Used mine tonight. Was able to get 8 of them, that’s all that was left in the store.

  20. Chelsea says:

the four packs that i bought also had 2.00 off coupons inside!! these coupons said any purchace over 2.00 though.

  21. mrsbrooks says:

i just called my store and she stated that someone just went in and cleared the shelves….ridiculous…cant even get a good deal in this town without someone being greedy….makes me sooooo mad

    • lucsmom says:

I used the $1.50 coupon earlier in the week and my Petsmart had at least a hundred of these things (I only got 4). They were on clearance for $.77 and so I was excited to get a few more with the $2 coupon. Went back (this was 2 days later) and not a single one was left. Most couponers where I live are great but we have a few, I see now and then ,who take EVERYTHING. So frustrating.

      • Caring couponer says:

I really can’t help but wonder about someone who takes EVERYTHING. Not long ago I was behind a lady in Target that bought 30 packages of lady’s razors (each pack had 2-3 razors in it). She used coupons to get them all for free and then bragged to the cashier that she had got all the razors of that type in the store and also at the other Target in town. I think for some people it is similiar to hoarding…they must get some sort of rush from it….it is very sad. Even if she planned on donating them all to charity it was still disturbing that she had the need to get ALL available at both stores.

  22. Dr12camp12 says:

I tried to use this coupon at a store today and was told it had to be either a 6 or 9 count package because the coupon states” Redeem ONLY by purchasing the brand sizes(s) and quantities indicated.” Even though the coupon states also $2.00 off any Nylabone Edible. ANyone having this problem also

  23. Elizabethw001 says:

I couldn’t find any of the edible ones on sale; so they took it off a rubber one

  24. When does this PetSmart sale expire?

  25. Amara says:

Thank you so very much KCL! I spotted this post last night and head out to PetSmart this morning. Saved $27! They still had the Nylabone Naturals edible treats hiding in the toothpaste isle for $1.54. I used the $1.50 coupon and scored them for 2 cents. And I love that there was no coupon limit. Also the Science Diet is on sale so I printed the $8 off coupon from the Science Diet challenge. Thanks again!!

Went to a PetSmart here in the Baton Rouge area and they had none under the $2 price range. The lowest priced ones were $2.54 and of course they were all gone but they were for puppies and we don’t have puppies. Gonna try another store tomorrow, but if Walmart sells them, then i’ll try there too.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! Tried to use this coupon today and the manager told me no. :( She said it had to be what was pictured on the coupon even though it said ANY edible and what I had was edible. Sounds like a lot of people are having the same trouble with this coupon after reading the comments. I’m very disappointed!

  31. laura c. says:

well, I went to PetSmart….and there wasn’t any Nylabone under 5 bucks! But, I got some free samples, and a nylabone (with a $2 coupon) and a toy on clerance. I love my lil buddy more than anything in the world, but I can’t afford to break the bank when all in all, he is happy with a carboard box to play with!

  32. Lisagrady22 says:

I have to say I was lucky. I had forgotten the price of the item(s), so as I was searching someone there asked if I needed any help. I pointed to a single serving nylabone treat & asked how much is this? He stated $.99. I then grabbed a couple knowing I was going to have some overage. Grabbed a chew toy for a puppy that was on clearance. When I got to the register the treat did not ring up $.99 but rang up $1.52. I told the cashier about my conversation, she then called him over. He agreed with me & they gave it to me for $.99 Paid $.24 total.

If you have Windows you can download the snipping tool from Windows help- it’s wonderful, though the process afterward is a tad time consuming….you can shrink the coupon down and get rid of all the other garbage on the screen (extra ads, etc)…then save it as a photo, open the photo in your pictures and print it even as small as a wallet photo!! My Nylabone coupon printed a size equal to 2 wallets (side by side)!! Great way to save ink!!!!!

This coupon is not fake..I just used it. And it was the manager that took it.

Just learned that the oceanside’s Petsmart manager was just not knowledgable. According to another Petsmart employee at my Vista location. She assured me the coupons were not fake and would gladly take them from me and also apologized for the manager in the oceanside location. That employee made my day! ;) No wasted ink, paper, or gas after all. :D

Which KIND will we have to buy to get it for free? I’m looking online at their website right now. I would like to donate it to a local volunteer run shelter.

  39. Duaber says:

Petsmart wouldn’t let me get this because the coupon was over the value of the dog treat

  40. guest says:

i know im blonde but could someone let me know how you print the coupon?

  41. Oregonian says:

Printed out 20 copies of this coupon. Took them to two different Petsmarts. All were sold out, as they had a product marked down to 77c that everyone bought up in a heartbeat. They had some non-edibles (the nylon bone style Nylabones, and they were almost sold out at the first location, but had some in the back. They still let me use my coupons at BOTH locations for these items, which were on sale for $2.54, so I ended up going home with 16 nylon puppy bones for $0.54/each.

  42. Alliblue99 says:

My PetSmart wouldn’t allow any overage, and wouldn’t “write it down”. I had to do 4 separate transcripts, with 8 coupons – but I still got them super cheap. My dog loved them, too!!

  43. Aggravated says:

All the people that are talking about how many can I print, how many can I buy, I cleared the store out… are greedy and selfish. I don’t care who does or doesn’t ike this comment. Quite frankly I’m sick of the hoarders using the excuse they are “donating”, especially when they don’t have pets of their own. Well then donate to me, because I do have a pet, and I only printed 4 coupons, and I can’t even get one bag let alone 4. I hope all you greedy hoarders run out of ink and have to keep wasting all that money you should be saving on ink. But I’m sure you’ll feel okay about it because you’re “donating”. Hahaha.

    • Tamar says:

Yes, I just printed out 10 coupons and I will clear the shelves if I have to … I may even print out more and visit multiple stores. I foster dogs, and I can’t afford to buy a lot of treats. Deals like this help me bring a little more excitement and happiness into the lives of my dogs, which is far more important to me than being labeled as “greedy.” In the case of great deals on dog food, I buy as much as I can and donate the brands I don’t use to the food bank around the corner. So you might want to think a little before you post such narrow-minded comments.

      • Justice for Caylee says:

if people cant afford to care for animals, they should not have them, it doesnt mean go clear out everything that they can and be greedy abt it share and share alike there is no excuse for being greedy!!!

        • Tamar says:

Who said I can’t afford to care for my animals??? If a store doesn’t have what you want, GO TO ANOTHER STORE. It’s really that simple. The coupons don’t expire for a few weeks, so you have plenty of time.

      • verstsurf says:

Tamar…get over it. I have 5 pets and I also foster wildlife, I am in the same boat as you. So how would you feel if I went in the store right before you, cleared the shelves and you got NOTHING? You would be a little ticked…and here I am saying “Well I foster so I deserve them more than you”. I do not care what you do, who you are or how sad your story. A piggy is a piggy is a piggy. Just remember you are not the only one struggling and still trying to do a little good. There are more of us out there and we may be in worse position then you. But you believe what ever it is that helps you sleep at night. Oink Oink!!

      • Aggravated says:

I did think, and my comment isn’t narrow minded. If you can’t afford to shelter the dogs, then don’t. I’m sick of my dogs and my family having to get rainchecks, and hope that my coupon doesn’t expire before items are restocked because of your narrow minded thinking. I guess next time I need something for my dog I’ll go to the local pet shelter instead of petsmart.

        • Tamar says:

So in your cosmology, getting a $1.37 dog treat is more important than saving the lives of old and decrepit shelter dogs? Jeesh, just go to another store! It’s not the end of the world.

And why the heck does everyone think I can’t afford my dogs?? You three are weird…

    • Beth Mead says:

I donate and I’m not a shelve cleaner by all means. I worked at a animal shelter for many years. I have 4 animals now. I ended up getting 10. I gave them alll to my shelter and none to my dogs. !!!! So over the negative comments. shut up and keep to yourself.

      • Aggravated says:

No I won’t shut up. I’m glad you’re over the negative comments, then don’t read them. Do you think your comment wasn’t negative? Telling me to shut up isn’t negative? Since when is that not negative? I have never been nasty in the same manner that you just were, but I do have a right to say what I want, and obviously others agree with me… hmmm over 24 LIKES! I made a statement, if you don’t like it, DON’T READ IT!

Just so YOU know (because you seem like a nice person who “gets” it), if my store had had enough of these bones, I would have cleared the shelves — and it would have been the first time I’d done so :-)

Although I couldn’t get the freebies, Petco (the nearest PetSmart is 15 miles away!), I saved $12 on 6 pkgs of treats that were also on sale. So I spent money, but my dogs were so happy when I got home!

        • Jillw75 says:

Thank you for Fostering!!!!! I am a 3 time foster failure and now own 4 dogs. I can afford them but it doesn’t mean I want to break the bank doing so! Which makes me very happy with this coupon and at that sale price I would clear the shelf even without a coupon!

And for others not familiar with fostering: The rescue group usually pays for all the basics. So by Tamar using her coupons for extras she is saving dogs and saving the rescue money! Thanks Tamar!

          • Tamar says:

LOL, it’s worse than that … I do private rescue, so I get to pay for everything. Wahoo! But my vet gives me a great discount, and couponing helps me save on expenses.

Anyway, thanks for the thanks. In return, I thank YOU for at least trying to foster … we’ve have a few failures too. I take old pit bulls from the shelter, the staff favorites who have been there are a really long time and are scheduled to be PTS, and fix them up and find them homes. The one we have now is such a keeper, but we can’t keep another one. We’ll find him a home … we’re just in no hurry!

What kind of dogs do you have? Ernie is our only pit. The rest are all dachshunds.

            • Tamar says:

After all that fuss, the bones gave at least five of the dogs diarrhea. Oh well. Anyone want some $2 off coupons?

Unfortunately all our Petsmart stores are cleaned out of these (one store I cleaned out a few weeks ago). The great thing is that they were reduced to .77, and there has been another $2 coupon in each one of the Calcium flavors.

I have learned that I can get overages at my local Petsmart. I think it is because they are too busy ogling my adorable pup, so they don’t notice the coupon amount :)

    • corry says:

I went to a couponing workshop last night and if you think they won’t take it because it’s missing the “second barcode” then your wrong because they have recently changed up coupon barcodes to the data bar for Manu coupons. So no more UPC bars on Manu coupons. ALL big name grocery stores and super centers such as walmart have already switched but will still accept yours with UPC bar. The only ones from now on that will have the UPC code are STORE coupons! Hope this helped!

    • Stefani says:

Wondering the same thing. Can we print and use as many of these as we want or the store has stock for?

      • Tracy says:

There are no limits on how many PDF coupons you can print, just make sure there is not a “limit one per transaction” statement on the coupon. Using PDF coupons can sometimes be tricky. Some stores it is not s problem. Others give you a difficult time or just refuse them. I almost always have a problem with them not scanning properly. Also some stores have limits of how many “like” coupons you can use. Before you go crazy and print a bunch of them, you may want to find out how willing your store is to take them

I didn’t see any for 1.54 they were about 2.23 at my petsmart. Still good deal thow. Nothing;s cheep at Petsmart. !!! Even their Dog Food is crazy exspensive.

I tried to use a coupon that was of more than the price of the item at Pet Smart and they refused to use it. I even said they could lower the coupon price and the lady still refused.

    • Beth Mead says:

Yes me to. I think PetSmart dosn’t see many coupons or something. Made me mad. I was going to donate to my local animal shelter. ugh!! I hate when this happens.

      • verstsurf says:

Why would you buy them JUST to donate them?! A lot of people struggle with just feeding their pet due to job loss, etc. And your buying them all just to give them away? If you want to help then donate old towels, newspaper and your time by volunteering. That is what they really need.

        • KarenSue says:

Any donation to an animal shelter would be appreciated.

        • Tamar says:

Because some folks think helping animals in need is more important than getting a $1 treat for free. Do you even know what goes on in shelters? They have stacks and stacks of blankets and newspapers, and very few treats for the dogs.

And who are you to say that Beth isn’t volunteering? Or what she should do with her time? Perhaps YOUR time would be better spent thinking of ways to be kind instead of slamming people on the internet for wanting to help those in need.

Jeesh, now I know why I seldom participate in these threads…

Beth..you need to try again and give them to the checkout girl first. I just used three of them in one purchase and they had no problems at all accepting them.

    • I saw on a message board that when someone contacted Petsmart about their coupon policy that the official stance is that they will not take a coupon that has a value that exceeds the value of the item being purchased, however it seems like this policy is not distributed to their stores. Every store seems to handle things differently, according to their store manager. Most of the cashiers are unaware of any coupon policy. The store manager at the Petsmart near me allows me to use my coupons and get an overage but they will not give cash back. I think your best bet is to ask the store manager about that particular store’s coupon policy and go with that because they don’t seem to have anything that is universal to all of the stores.

      • Mrsbarela says:

At my store they gave me the full coupon price, which created an overage. I just had to buy other items so their wasn’t an overage.

        • Tracy says:

My store did also. Most of the Nylabone were on clearance. I got 3 of the single serving for .77 (regular .99) and a bag of 9 count Nutri-Dent $4.87 clearance. I used 3 of the mfg Q $1.50/1 which created an overage and (1) $2/1 printable (It states “Redeem ONLY by purchasing the brand, size, and quantities indicated”, so I assumed I had to purchase one of the items in the picture. My total was .68 for all four items!

  63. You can also use the lower value Nylabone coupon from the 7/17 SS and save this one for a different item, or just get more for free!
