So I have yet to try it, but now I can!  Have you tried it yet? Inspired by real desserts, the variety includes Mint Chocolate Chip, Strawberry Shortcake and Key Lime Pie.  One of the things I never pay very much for since I started couponing is gum.  I’ve seen the advertisements for the Extra Desserts Delights gum but haven’t found it free.  What flavor should I try?  Here’s hoping it makes me forget about wanting dessert!

Extra Dessert Delights Gum $0.99, Regular Price
Use $1.00/2 Extra Gum from SS 9/25
And use $1.00/2 – Extra Gum Packs, 15ct, Target Coupon – (target.com)
Final Price: Free when you buy 2

Thanks, My Frugal Adventures

The apple pie is AMAZING!

Reply

I didn’t think you could use 2 coupons for the same product?

Reply

you can stack it because one is a target coupon and the other is a manufacturer coupon ( just like you can use a CVS coupon and a manufacuturer, albertsons, etc)

Reply

got mines free, use manu and target coupon

I tried the key lime pie and they are delicious and very satisfying – for those of trying to skip some desserts!

I missed the SS coupon, and was so sad…because I found these at my local Walgreens for $.39 and they could have been a moneymaker.

Thanks KCL, your a wonderful human being

This gum is AMAZING!! My whole family loves the Mint chocolate chip; it really does taste just like it sounds. The Strawberry Shortcake is outstanding also. Not so crazy about the Key Lime Pie, which is disappointing, because we LOVE the real thing. But hey– can’t be too upset about saving $7 and 1000 calories per slice!!

How do I get the coupon? There is nothing saying where to print it out!

Reply

I’ve looked and looked on the target site (and different times) and can’t find any of these gum coupons. Can anyone tell me a zip or what page they are on?

Reply

under grocery tab, make sure newest box is checked and it will be on pg 2, i’m in Atlanta, hope this helps, I just printed it out

Reply

Can someone please tell me what coupon they are talking about when they say from “SS”? Thank you! Im new to this :)

Reply

SS means Smart Source…so, you can find the extra gum coupon in the Sept. 25th (9/25) Smart Source insert. Other insert abbreviations are RP for Red Plum, PG for P&G Brand Saver, and GM for General Mills.

Reply

I seem to be in the minority here, but I tried the apple pie and I thought it was AWFUL. Each to their own I guess!

Reply

i bought 10 packs of these today for free. i only bought the orange cream flavor because thats all my family wanted they’re pretty good!

key lime & the dreamsicle ones are AWESOME.

Can someone explain the target mobil coupon? It states that the coupon is limit 1 per item and can only be used once. Example: the Olay regenerist has a mobil coupon for $3 off, would I be able to purchase only one item or can I purchase 4 and get $3 off of each item?

Reply

Only one item per phone.

Reply

Does target allow coupons that add up to over the price of the item? It would end up being $1.98 for 2 gum packs, but $2 with the coupons, last time my cashier said Target didn’t allow that. :(

I think it depends on the cashier, I just did a transaction where I had overage and the overage just went to the rest of my purchases.

Reply

With the new Target coupon policy I have only had the Target coupons adjusted down (automatically by the register) but overage from manufacturer coupons has been allowed. Not sure how it is handled at your Target but let us know.

Reply

Tonite for the first time ever since this Target opened ats been a few years, The cashier adjusted my coupons down then called over the mgr!! Any way needless to say the whole transaction was screwed up she adjusted some and some she didnt!! Then the CSM proceeded on telling me that Target did not get reimbursed for the coupons like all the other stores,,She said Target gets paid by the pound,, lol Im not sure how that would work out,but I did find that kind of funny,,,and she said if I had been getting overages at this store I should not have and a smart cashier would not have let me!!! I didnt want to tell her that just about every cashier in that whole store NEVER adjusted any of my coupons before!!!

I can’t find the other coupon. I have the one from Target! I looked at SmartSource but still couldn’t find it. Any help?

Reply

I can’t find the other coupon. Not the Target coupon but the other one…I think from smartsource!

Reply

Guess I will use the Target coupon and pat $.49 for two since I don’t have the ss coupon. Still a decent price.

Me too. I do love this gum. Sad about the coupon.

In my Smart Source 9/25, I just had a full-page ad for dessert sensations and no coupon! Did this happen to anyone else? It’s very irritating to have a full-page ad an no coupons in the coupon circular!

Reply

In my 9/25 Smart Source, there was a page advertising Extra Dessert Delights but it had no coupon, the whole page was just an ad. Did this happen to anyone else?

My ss is the same way. There was no coupon.

Reply

Same way for me. I hate when that happens. I really think that some of the inserts are different than others. I normally get my inserts 50 at a time and every once in a while I will have 2 or 3 odd ball inserts that are similar but will have more/less coupons in in and different ads!

I have MQ, and I can print the Target Q, do I need a target Q for each MQ, or can I reuse the Target Q?

Reply

You need to have a target coupon for every manufacturer coupon you wish to stack it with. Also, target coupons state “One per transaction”, so you’ll need to separate transactions in order to use 2 or more of the same target coupon.

Reply

I just ran into this at my local target. Tried doing separate transactions but it gave an error each time because the total was zero. How do I get around it? I didn’t have any other items to pair with it. Just twelve packs of gum, six man q’s, and six Target q’s.

I’ve tried all the flavors except the orange creamsicle one. My absolute favorite is the Apple Pie one, and I don’t even like real apple pie. It tastes more like an apple strudel to me and it’s awesome. I like the other flavors as well but that apple pie one hooked me. :-D

Reply

I’ve tried the Mint chocolate Chip one, it’s really yummy! Has anyone tried any of the other flavors?

I really like the mint chocolate chip and the strawberry shortcake. My former partner and I tried all three when they came out. They’re all good. It’s hard to resist the urge to swallow them though.

Reply

My daughter (17 yr old!!!) did just that! LOL She was enjoying her mint gum so much that she swallowed it! Cracked me up! She’ll be happy to know that others find the urge hard to resist as well…

Reply

im confused i use one coupon or two to get them free could some explain it to me

Reply

You need to stack the two coupons to get them free. One is a manufacturer coupon and the other is a target coupon. When you use the two together you will get $2 off making the two packs of gum free! (=

Reply

I haven’t tried the other two, but I love the mint chocolate chip! Too bad I used my coupons at Smith’s this week. :)

Reply

the only coupon I found was 0.50 off on 2. The $1.00 off on was on 2 three packs

Reply

Mint choco chip and apple pie are my absolute favorite!

Is the apple pie flavor really cinnamony?

Reply

Not spicy like cinnamon, more sweet syrupy sugar tasting and a little sour like the apples. Really good!

Hey, today I didn’t get to the store for my papers until really late, cuz I worked. Usually I would have my sister get them for me, but it slipped my mind. Well, when I got there, there was only one paper left & the only insert it had was the P&G. I was really looking forward to the other inserts! I was considering buying the others online. How do I do this, I’ve never done it before =-/

There are several clipping sites you can try. Google coupon clipping sites and many will come up. I’ve used The Coupon Clippers but there are many out there!

You could also call your local newspaper- ask for the circulation department, and see if you could swing by and grab some of the sunday newspaper. Mine does this! They even give a discount ($1 off per copy!) if you buy 11 or more.

All really good ideas. Thank you, guys!

Well, no luck with the gas stations… I called every one in town =-( But, the inserts were finally posted on Collectable Coupons (They weren’t when I first checked). So I got the ones I wanted. It sucks that I had to spend extra to get them, but at least I know I’ll save/earn more than I spent

Definitely the mint chocolate chip!!

My mom is addicted to this gum! Going at lunch to pick up 10 packs. Had no idea they would be free. Wish I had more coupons now!
