I have a general question, I have been couponing for 7 months now and do pretty well but have never been able to use a manufacturer coupon if it has a different logo than the stores. Ex: Using a walmart logo coupon at Riteaid. Now I know people say you can becasue it’s
manufacturer coupon but I have been denied ever time. How would you present this to cashier to have it work. I have tried at riteaid, safeway and albertsons, fred meyer, and walgreens.
    Thank you

It depends on the wording. If it says redeemable at _____, it means that business paid to get their pretty little logo on the coupon in hopes that you’ll go to their store and purchase the item. However, if it has manufacturers coupon on there, you DO NOT have to go there to use the coupon. If it says reedemable only at _____, then you MUST go to that store to use the coupon. If I was to encounter a cashier who refused to redeem the coupon, I would kindly explain the difference between redeemable at and redeemable only at. If they still were giving me a hard time I would either ask for the manager right there or would go to customer service. If that didn’t work, I would call cooperate. It’s hard to be nice when you’re in the middle of a dispute, but I usually get my way (ha!) if I’m kind, but have NEVER gotten my way when I was short. Hope this helps! Couponing is fun, but I find that there are more road blocks these days. Makes it a little less fun, but hang in there!!!

Ask to talk to a manager, or call corporate.

I am sorry to hear that you have had this problem. This coupon is good anywhere manufacturer coupons are accepted. This goes for all other manufacturer coupons UNLESS it says redeemable ONLY AT a specific store! Just give the cashier your coupons. An experienced cashier will know the difference between these coupons. If they say you can not use at their location you can kindly point out the specific wording. If that does not work ask to speak to a manager/supervisor or head over to the Customer Service desk. Good luck!

Just ask them to scan them and see if they take. I have had that problem before but if they will be nice enough to try they will soon see they take those ones.
