Rite Aid Extreme Couponing (Week of 8/12): $5.00 or Less

Welcome to this post where we will lay out some extreme couponing deals that will cost you about $5.00 each week! First, here’s everything you need to know about shopping at Rite Aid:

Before shopping at RiteAid you should sign up for a Wellness card or get one in your store. The best deals at Rite Aid utilize the +Up Rewards and the Single Check Rebate (SCR) system. In addition to the +Up Rewards, which are coupons that print with your receipt (similar to CVS), Rite Aid sends you a monthly check for the total of all your rebates purchased during that month with the SCR program. You can cash the check as you would any other check. In addition to the +Up Rewards and the SCR program, you can watch videos on products and receive Video Value coupons. These coupons can be printed from your computer after you watch the corresponding videos. You can use each coupon once per Wellness card. Go here for RiteAid’s updated coupon policy and here to watch the video on shopping at Rite Aid.

Has anyone had problems with the up rewards did not print out for the Playtex OrthoPro Pacifier Paks? I did not get any up reward after purchased them. So I returned them and got my money back.

The store was out of them for me but on another link I read where someone did not get the ups but others did.  The ones who did receive the ups asked if the ones who did not receive the ups purchased the correct product because they had no problems with the deal.

I am confused my ad shows the Stayfree deal on the front, then on page 7 it shows Stayfree buy one gert one free, and includes the same count. Wonder if you can double dip making this a real money maker. Buy 2 for a total of $3, use $2 q , pay $1  and get 2 $2 Up rewards, money maker of $3. I am going to have to see how they are marked in my store in the morning.

I was just wondering how you made out with the stayfree?  I asked the store manager about it and she said it was a misprint.  I only bought one because the coupon had a limit of one.  I guess I could have had her scan a second pkg to see if it would ring up free???

      • Lancy says:

I bought two stayfree packages at the same time, but no bogo. I had to pay $4 for two after my two $1 off coupons.

        • Anonymous says:

Thanks for answering.  You did get $4 in up though, right?

        • Candy says:

Are you in SoCal? I received the same ad… but the front list 1 specific location that is doing the B1G1 free dealio… did you go to that store?? (I received two inserts for Rite-Aid….) Regular ad and Buy 1 Get 1 free insert…

          • Lancy says:

No. I live in NJ, but I receive the same ad as yours. I saw the bogo as the same counts as the one that offer $2 up reward and I tried the deal to see how it works. But the system did not take off the second one for me.

There’s a $1/1 Stayfree coupon on see.walmart.com/stayfree for those that did not get the coupon in the paper.  It does limit you to 1 per customer but let’s you print 2.  So bring a friend!

I checked the ad – the Arm & Hammer Power Packs are 2/$7…I don’t see the 2/$6 anywhere…am I missing it?

ok i must have not learned “new” math.  It appears the stayfree deal is messed up as well.  according to my “old” math 3.00 each x 2 = $6 – 2mc-2mc = $2 and then get back 2 $4.00 RR.  So this would make this a $2 moneymaker?

    • mom2boyz says:

The stayfree coupon states ONE PER CUSTOMER – so you cannot use two q’s in one transaction.

    • Anonymous says:

Unfortunately we can only use one of the $2.00 coupons per the restriction on it.

      • Anonymous says:

oops my bad. its always me and my bf shopping so i guess I luck out alot with these new coupon restrictions. thanks for explaining. Darn the “new math” coupons. (yes ladies…he normally comes willingly lol)

The nips deal is a MISPRINT in the ad!! It is actually $1 RR wyb two :(

  7. karen says:

The nips are not actually free. I did the deal yesterday and only $1 up printed per every two boxes.

    • Karen, these deals start tomorrow (Sunday August 12) so the deal you got yesterday would be different then what the sale will be for the weekd of August 12.
      Happy Couponing :)

      • karen says:

yes Holly, our deals here start on Fridays, so it wasn’t a different deal

    • Dencameron says:

Your right the nips are not free. I live in so. calif. and our ads starts on friday. I bought 4 and only received 2 ups.

    • Anonymous says:

Yes, I heard through the couponing world that they were printing out differently than the ad implied.  Oh well, still a great deal!
