I did herbal essence deal at walgreen today. I have lots of points that I want to use, so I was not thinking about the RR. I bought 4 bottles, use 2 BOGO qpon, 5000 pts I already have, paid about $2 and only get one $2 RR. I should’ve done it in 2 transaction, use RR to pay and get more RR, it would’ve been a better deal….but it’s still good, consider OOP 2 and get back 2RR. Better next time :)

Can i use the bogo coupon from the herbal to the aussie?

    • Chelsea Kay says:

Nope. The BOGO coupon is for herbal essences. You can’t use it on a different product.

  7. Maria says:

You can only earn one Register Reward per offer per transaction. So in your case, you needed to buy only two at a time in separate transactions. I’m sorry! Click on our “101″ tab at the top of our Walgreens page–this will be helpful!

That’s awesome! Sometimes certain phrases or web links are flagged in the brag lounge and they take awhile to show up. You also may need to clear your Internet cache.

Staday i bought 4 herbal essence shampoo 1 facual tissue n used 2 b1g1 from smart source in single transaction and also used earlier $2 rr earned from blistex.i just got one $2 RR.can anyone tel me is it because i did evrything in 1 transaction?

    • kde90 says:

u bought 4 herbal essences thinking ud receive 2x $2RR…well its happened to me too when RR started printing. u can only receive 1x RR per transactions per participating items therefore u had to make two transactions to receive in each $2RR for the herbal essences. and dnt use the RR in ur next transaction for that same product expecting to receive the RR again bcuz u wnt.

At Walgreens you can only earn one Register Reward per offer per transaction. You would have needed to separate the Herbal Essences products into two separate transactions to get both $2.00 Register Rewards. Click on the “101″ tab at the top of our Walgreens page to learn about how Register Rewards work–they’re kind of complicated!

  16. Erin says:

I didn’t see this deal in my weekly ad. Is it an unadvertised deal, or regional? Thanks!

    • Anonymous says:

It is unadvertised and it has been going on all month. It should be everywhere! Check and see if it’s marked at your store!

  17. Tiffany says:

You have a lot of patience KCL. :)

Also for those of you that shop Walgreens know that the number of coupons can not exceed the number of items. This may force you to purchase items in more than one transaction. Also, for anybody military out there I do all my Walgreens shopping on Thursdays because they honor a 20% discount on all Walgreens brands and 15% on all other brands on top of coupon prices. but it’s on Thursdays only. Not too much of a pain and allows me to plan what I shop for from the Sunday circular.

  19. I did this at CVS the larger size bottles are on sale for $5.99 and spend $15 get $5 Extra Bucks. I bought 2 bottles Herbal Essences (1 shampoo 1 conditioner) and 2 bottles Pantene (1 shampoo 1 conditioner) using a BOGO coupon on both. The BOGO coupon took $6.99 the up to value and the cashier said she could not change it. $9.98 plus tax for 4 large bottles and got $5 Extra Bucks!

  20. Anyiyi says:

Hi, where can I find the coupon from SS 09/16? I start this week couponing. Thank you!

    • Anonymous says:

It is found in the Smart Source coupon insert that came out in Sunday’s paper on 9/16. I’d recommend clicking on the “Beginners” tab at the top of our site! Welcome to the coupon world!

      • Anyiyi says:

Thank you for the respond! Can you tell me please how to access to the 9/16 edition of the SS? I went to their web page and I coudl not find the coupon, please can you help me?

        • Anonymous says:

It came out in the newspaper on 9/16, so it is not available on the web. You might be able to buy some on ebay, or ask a friend if they still have that paper!

  21. precie says:

can you use the 3/2 coupon to stack with the BOGO q at walgreens?

    • Anonymous says:

No, you cannot. Aussie and Herbal Essences are Procter & Gamble brands. ALL P&G coupons do not allow you to combine coupons. All P&G coupons themselves do not allow combining a BOGO coupon with a “dollars off” coupon. They state, “Limit one coupon per purchase of products and QUANTITIES stated.” Thus, you cannot combine any kind of P&G BOGO coupon with a “dollars off” coupon. To use both coupons, you would need to purchase four products. It’s still a great deal, though!

  22. jae says:

i heard on ebay you can use the b1g1 coupons and the$3.00/2 coupon together.

    • Anonymous says:

You heard incorrectly. Herbal Essences and Aussie are Procter & Gamble brand products. ALL P&G coupons do not allow you to combine coupons. Even if the store you are going to expressly allows combining a BOGO coupon with a “dollar off” or “cents off” coupon, all P&G coupons themselves do not allow this. They state, “Limit one coupon per purchase of products and QUANTITIES stated.” Thus, you cannot combine any kind of P&G BOGO coupon with a “dollars off” coupon. Does that make sense?

  23. Dominique says:

I have a question. I have a coupon for a free shamp/conditioner for herbal essence, could i use that coupon along with the b1g1 to get both of the items for free?

    • redemandweep says:

      nope

    • maddy420 says:

I used them at CVS and only paid .47 for both the shampoo and conditioner

Ok so I have a question do to the fact that I am still new. I went to walgreens and tried the following transaction: 1 gillette fusion proglide and 1 mach 3… Use 1 B1G1 Free Mach 3 mfc when you buy any Gillette fusion razor and 1 $5/1 Gillette fusion razor. It didn’t work the lady at the register said I had to use one or the other because the system kept denying the coupons. She said that I had to buy the one to get the other free so I couldn’t use the $5/1 coupon. Is this correct? I thought as long as I had the item to use the coupon it would work, but again I am new at this so I was just wondering.

    • maddy420 says:

Go to CVS they take both of them.

      • Shandi Kemp says:

        ok thanks :)

    • justqp says:

i did this same deal, and use both b1g1 coupon and $5 off, and it worked for me with no problem, this is walgreen coupon policy to accept a coupon for a product that we r buying on b1g1 coupon. if this happened again tell them to enter manually because this is there coupon policy.
